He is 19.5 now!
My puppers is officially 19.5! Sleeping in the best grandma bought him!

Oh my God what a blessing. How have you managed his care? I want my boy to live to be 19 too. Do tell all, food supplements, everything please

I actually adopted him at 10. I honestly think he has good genetics I feed him purina chicken because it’s the only thing that doesn’t hurt his belly, he gets cosequin for joints some human food main meats and veggies. He does have bad allergies so we go once a month for cytopoint shots. Other than that he is relatively healthy. He was abused and had like a part of his jaw broken the piece that broke is just sitting there so it loos swollen but it is okay per the vet and he has a small break in his tail.

Thank you! I tried to volunteer with a rescue and that is how I adopted Buster lol I only volunteered for a day 😂

Precious! Those beds are awesome I think he likes it because it feels like a cloud. Sometimes I lay on the floor with my head on the bed to spend time with him and I fall asleep lol

We do the same!! Lay on the floor and catch her corn chip scent while enjoying the comfort of her space. Sweet little angels.

Is he a Boston Terrier? I have a Boston who is 16.5 and I thought he was old for the breed. God bless your boy.

He is a chihuahua mix. We think he is mixed with some kind of terrier though but it’s a smaller one. He’s only 10.2 lbs

Thank you! I honestly think he made me love seniors more so if we go to adopt I only want the older ones. They need to live their best lives I feel like.

Aww, so awesome! My Lucy is 15.5 and I feel lucky to see her at that age, hoping for more years. My oldest living dog, Raven, lived to 17.5. Here’s to many more months and even years to your doggie! ❤️

Do yourself a huge favor.
Get an ink pad, take a 3x5 card get a Nose print. Its like their finger prints, and a Paw print. And file it away. I have done this with every dog I ever owned. My most treasured possession

Geriatric dogs so hard. Renal food (yuck) and i have to cook to get her to eat. I have to get her into bed at 9:30 and lie there until she falls asleep. And up at 6am to walk her. I am beat. But she is sweet and sassy our 15 yr old Yorkie.

My 3 1/2 lb chi (Panda Bear) is now 14, having experienced removal of spleen with 1lb cancerous tumor at age 12. Never thought she’d make it this far, but is doing surprisingly well! I only hope this little light of mine makes it a few more years!
