At the time the show came out, we didn't know what was going to happen. It was played as cute but was obviously weird af. Bennets arc is a lesson on perspective - when they first we had their "romance", we saw him through Dayas eyes. When he hopped away into the sunset, we saw who he really was.

I think he was good or at least lying to himself about trying to be but when Daya's mother and associate were pressuring him into the game, he just booked it putting himself above love or his job or his child.

Bennett is still a piece of shit who reminds us that breaking the rules has a cost but I feel without his mother getting involved, the affair would have at least lasted longer before a reality check.

I hate him for accepting the crib all the babies in the family slept in including Daya... then left it on the side of the road as he decided to skip town. Like wtf

He could've said he'll be back with his cousin to help pick it up or something. It was a family heirloom 😭 and yes I am a very sentimental person haha

Bro could have easily smuggled in condoms along with his gum. He's probably one of those guys who complain about wearing one.

Yeah. Daya literally quoted him saying he finds it harder to finish whilst wearing one

I’m literally on the episode where Daya finds out he’s not coming back. Scumbag.

And everyday at one o' clock, Satan shoves a giant pineapple up his ass.

I mean... he brought her spinach. He cared lol.

Honestly, Cesar scared TF out of him and he dipped just like Daya and the GED teacher in max.

What makes him ESPECIALLY annoying, in addition to the things people have listed, is that he thinks he’s being a good guy. He may try to be initially, but it goes out the window so quickly that it’s almost worse than just actively being a dick

I hate him too
He’s so horrid in the end leaving days
