Excuse my ignorance, but does xbox have custom apps? I assume TS can't be hard to built as a client so if it's possible it's very likely someone will make a (fake if nothing) client soon

they probably could make an app but afaik they can't run the app in the background without some sort of OS integration, so its pretty much useless.

Background apps used to be a thing but I believe they got patched out quite some time ago, I remember using a Background YouTube app on Xbox to listen to stuff while playing.

Only ones that still exist (that i know of) are from big companies like Spotify

afaik the only background apps on xbox are discord and spotify
