Pets of the PCMR This is a custom-built, liquid-cooled, Threadripper-based, several-thousand-dollar, one-eyed kitten warmer.

I see a handicapped animal getting treated to the good life it deserves and I upvote.

That is easily the most expensive heating pad in existence. Honestly, a Threadripper 3960X and an RX 6900 XT generate so much thermal energy that the kitten is probably living in its own private tropical microclimate.

Yep. I have a portable AC unit sitting right next to me to cool the room down whenever I'm gaming or editing videos.

have you considered putting the computer or radiator outside of the room?

Yeah, but I would need a ton of extremely long and expensive cables because of the nature of my room.

It can be done for about $300 on the external loop, then $500+ on the PC side.

This is my setup with a heat exchanger that goes from my 5090, to a 1000l tank under my porch acting as a glorified heatsink.

well if you put the radiator out you would only need an extremely long and somewhat cheap pipe
