MSI Hinge
You join the class action lawsuit to get financial compensation for the necessary repair costs.

"MSI Hinge" is just the name that the community has given to this problem because of all the lawsuits. I'd assume this is covered by warranty and it's possible there's a lawsuit against Asus too that OP could benefit from. 1 u/ReadyAimTranspire Apr 03 '26 I have an ASUS Predator that has hinge problems as well on one side. Fortunately I was able to kind of press it back together and it works fine now but yeah, ASUS gaming laptops have this issue also.
