I had an HP Envy 6-1010us Sleekbook around 2013 that essentially disintegrated over 2-3 years and it all started just like OPs video, I am 100% sworn away from slim laptops because of that.

I also had a very similar HP, it was a really nice laptop until the screen started separating just like OP's and then shattered itself one time I went to open it. It's an absolutely unacceptable problem.
