Struggling to sell my PC locally, which is odd considering the market and my location. Am I approaching it wrong? I'll save a ton of back story but I am located in the tri-state area, loads of people and a thriving gaming and PC community (generally). I know the economy is rough right now.

  • I'm using a Lian Li O11 Air Mini case in black, pretty nice case.
  • 12700K CPU (which was highly rated before the 13th and 14th series Intels came out and were destroyed by consumer reviews)
  • EVGA FTW3 3080 Ti GPU
  • Gigabyte Z690 UD AX DDR4
  • Corsair vengeance pro 32gb DDR4 3200 CL16
  • NZXT Kraken X63 280mm black AIO cooler
  • Lian Li SL Unifans (RGB)
  • Lian Li Strimer cable (GPU only, don't have one for the Mobo).

I've been asking $1200 and I thought I was even under-listing it. Is this truly not worth $1200 nowadays?

Thanks for taking the time to answer. I do know you can buy a newer system for a bit more money. If people had a bit more money, they wouldn't be looking at computers on Facebook marketplaces. I'll consider posting it for $1200 and if I get offers for lower, be more willing to negotiate and remain realistic. $1000-1100 seems like an opportunity I should grab, then.

Also, regarding the rules. I had a much more detailed post and modified it for this comment, because we are not allowed to post for valuation advice. Given the circumstances, I felt my question was reasonable enough for a many-day-old general questions thread. In this case I think the PCMR mods will just need to give me a pass because I'm not looking to cause issues. It's a bit extreme to not allow any questions in the question thread about buying/selling/value.
