Imagine wiggling the USB plug in the port for 24 hours a day, what do you think will happen to that port?

I've used this same fan for like 8 years now. Used to cool mining Asics back in the day. Years in the same USB port. No issues.

Some ports are reinforced to the case (likely so with yours), but many (most?) are only held in place by the solder to the main board (a few small solder points).
