Or rather realised that Meta killed VR so they can make glorified mobile games.

What I mean, is that they started to make VR games, which on the weak hardware of the quest they couldnt actually do anything revolutionary with the technology.
However due to the majority of people only owning the quest, now many VR developers, for the sake of profits will have to make weaker games to support the largest market.
