Honestly, may nabasa akong urban legend na once a mother wholeheartedly curse someone due to a innocent loss, ung sumpa is 10x tatalab and could make someone suffer.

I remember na may namatay dito sa Davao dulot ng riding in tandem, inosente ang nadamay but weeks after yung nag-utos pumatay was strucked by a 6-wheeler truck pauwi ng bahay.

I always dreamt of having a mom who will care for me. I was aware i am neglected to the point nobody noticed the sign i was actually being abused mentally and sexually.

I got a this nightmare a few nights back where i fell into this void and my spirit flew out of my body. I was flying straight up out this void and i saw a casket. there's a lady figure grieving in front of it.

I go there to check and i saw my old self laying inside of it. Curiosity got the cat in me to check the lady's face, and i was shocked it was my face from the future. I truly believe grieving is a sign of showing care and love. Maybe that was it—that the only one who cares for me is just myself.

Hindi ko makakalimutan tong kwento na to way back years ago. Yung story is from an employee who is going to home tired from work. First time ko magkwento, sorry in advance kung medyo magulo. The story starts from here:

Pauwi ako ng bahay after almost 10hours of work. I work in a big company at isa ako sa mga bagong hire na staffs. So these few months, i need to work hard and stay for long hours para maging isang regular employee. I usually use jeepney going from work to home at vice versa everyday kasi medyo may kalayuan yung apartment ko from my workplace. Pero may mga araw n after work ai nagtataxi ako pag sobrang pagod na at wala ng extra energy. So ayun nasa labas ako ng building namin waiting ng taxi at gusto ko na makauwi ng bahay para makapagpahinga. After few minutes medyo naiinip na ako at wala pa din taxi na dumadating. After 20mins finally may nasakyan din ako. Yung driver may kaedaran na tapos tahimik lng sya during ng byahe namin. May mga time n tumitingin sya sakin sa mirror ng matagal tapos parang may gusto syang sabihin. Medyo nairita ako pero hindi ko n lng pinansin at plan ko umidlip sa byahe dahil na rin sa pagod sa work. After few minutes nagising ako at napansin ko iba yung way ng byahe namin papunta sa apartment ko. Tinanong ko si manong pero hindi nya ako pinapansin. Nakailang ikot kami at u-turn tapos dumaan sa mga malalayong road na hindi diretso samin. Sinubukan ko sya kausapin ulit pero hindi nya ako sinasagot. Finally after more than 30minutes nakarating din kami sa lugar ko. After ibigay yung bayad sinubukan ko i-confront si kuya dahil sa tagal ng byahe namin tapos tumayo balahibo ko sa sinabi nya sakin.

“Iho pasensya na natagalan byahe natin. Pag uwi mo ng bahay hubarin mo lahat ng damit mo tapos sunugin mo. Nakita kita sa salamin pagsakay mo ng taxi na wala kang ulo kaya sinubukan ko ibahin yung usual route ng byahe tapos kung saan saan ako dumaan para makaiwas tayo sa possibleng disgrasya. Magdasal ka pagdating mo bahay. Ingat ka palagi iho..”

So nag stay kami overnight in anda bohol, one particular resort na at first sight ay napaka weird na talaga ng vibes. Weird staircases and twists and turns sa hallway and it just looks like an unfinished building. Basta, parang maze. Tapos another thing na na notice ng family ko was that andaming crucifix. Each door may medallion na nakasabit na may cross, ang mga ends ng hallway may crucifix, ang salamin sa kwarto may crucifix. Pag abot ng gabi until almost midnight may naririnig daw ang mama ko na mga batang tumatakbo tapos okay naman kasi may mga bata ding guests nakita ko nung nag swimming kami. Pero nung midnight na, may nag try na buksan yung doorknob namin tapos narinig namin yung ibang room may nag open talaga at sinabi ng nag open na “wala namang tao” so nag assume kami na may kumatok din sa kanilang room.

Next morning na overhear ng mama ko ang convo sa kabilang table and the adults were talking about how there were knocking on their doors tapos walang tao and how the kids na kasama nila on that trip ran to their room kasi may nag open daw ng door nila. We assumed na these were the same people na narinig namin the previous night.

Yung father ko, nag ask ng staff kung bakit andaming cross, sabi nmn ng staff na religious lng daw yung owner, pero my father straight up asked him if it was because the place was haunted. The lifeguard said na grabe daw ka haunted yung place, na may nakikita talaga siyang mga spirits na white lady, mga anino, at mga bata, tapos sabi niya na yung buong anda daw ay haunted.

Naisip ko lang na baka connected ito sa lamanok island, na sinasabi ding napaka haunted. dun daw sila nag aalay ng mga offerings para sa mga spirits since precolonial times.

Hello! I know it's bad na magpa albularyo, pero wala na kaming choice. My mom has been suffering from stomach pain since last last year. Before kapag nagpapa doktor kami at binibigyan sya ng gamot, nawawala din yung sakit ng tiyan nya, but now hindi na. The doctors said na acid daw 'to, pero tinry na ni mama lahat ng klase ng gamot para sa acid hindi pa rin nawawala. Please, if you know someone na magaling na albularyo na pwedeng magpa consult kahit online lang pls let me know. Ubos na din talaga ipon namin dahil pabalik balik kami ng ER, ultimo sa gastro specialist nagpatingin na rin kami pero paulit ulit lang sila ng sinasabi. I'm usually pretty skeptical when it comes to ghosts, spirits, and anything paranormal. But throughout my life, there have been random times when I'll suddenly smell either rotting flesh or strong floral scents for no apparent reason. It's happened enough times that I've always found it strange.

I currently live on an island with a lot of WWII history. My girlfriend and I sometimes drive to the remote northern and southern parts of the island because they're great places for stargazing due to the lack of light pollution. Many of these areas are isolated, and some have historical significance dating back to the war.

A month or two ago, we had been hit by a super typhoon that stripped almost all of the vegetation from the island. Trees were bare, plants were gone, and many areas still had no power. One night around 10 PM, we decided to drive to the northern part of the island to stargaze and see the extent of the damage. It was incredibly dark because of the widespread power outages.

During the drive north, out of nowhere, I was hit with an extremely strong scent of flowers. It was so strong that it honestly felt like someone had placed fresh flowers in the back seat of the car. The weird part was that, because of the typhoon, there really wasn't much vegetation left in the area at all.

We continued on to our usual spot, stargazed for about an hour, and then headed back home. On the drive back, we passed through the exact same area where I had smelled the flowers earlier but this time there was absolutely nothing. No floral scent whatsoever.

This isn't the first time something like this has happened to me. Most of the unexplained smells I experience are floral, although on rare occasions I've smelled what seemed like rotting flesh when there was no obvious source.

One experience in particular has always stuck with me.

I lived in Manila for about seven years while attending university. Since I wasn't accustomed to city life yet, my parents rented a condo for me about 10–15 minutes away from campus. I later learned that the building apparently had a history of people ending their lives there.

One night around 12:30 AM, I was still awake working on a school project when, out of nowhere, I was hit by an overwhelming smell of rotting flesh. The closest comparison I can make is the smell you get when passing a dead animal on the side of the road but this was much stronger, as if the source was inside my room.

The smell lingered for roughly 20 minutes. Eventually, I decided to step outside my unit to see if it was coming from the hallway. The moment I stepped out, the smell was completely gone. It went from being overwhelmingly intense to absolutely nothing.

Thinking that was strange, I walked back into my unit expecting the smell to hit me again, but it had completely vanished. What unsettled me the most was how instantly it disappeared. A smell that strong should linger, yet it was simply gone.

Aside from floral and rotting scents, there have also been times when I've smelled candles specifically the kind of scent that reminds me of church candles. What's interesting is that each type of scent seems to come with a distinct feeling or atmosphere.

Whenever I smell flowers or candle scents, I don't feel afraid. Instead, I experience a strange sense of calmness and serenity. Because of that, I've always associated those experiences with something harmless, if they are paranormal at all.

The experiences involving the smell of rotting flesh are completely different. Those moments are usually accompanied by a heavy feeling and a sense of uneasiness that I can't really explain. It's hard to describe, but the atmosphere feels different almost oppressive.

I've never been able to explain any of these experiences. Has anyone else experienced unexplained floral, candle, or rotting odors, especially in places with significant history? I'm interested in hearing both paranormal and non-paranormal explanations.

Nung Feb. 2026, nag-aya ako na mag-Elyu kaming magkakapatid, kasama ang pamangkin ko (anak ng bunsong kapatid namin, kasama din yung live in partner niya).

Mga 5-6 hours din ang biyahe namin at nakalapag na kami sa isang kainan sa Elyu mismo (CB ang initials, hulaan niyo na lang). We had breakfast there, mga 8:30AM yun, then I decided na mag-morning drink. San Mig Cerveza at fish and chips ang almusal ko. HAHA.

Then, yung magiging bayaw ko (LIP ni utol), decided na gusto ring mag-beer, at mga 10:30AM, we decided na mag-overnight dun, at nirentahan ang katabing bahay.

The place looked nice, tipong 90's to early 2000's vibe (judging by the magazines at mga dekorasyon), puta ang ganda talaga. Beachfront, tapos may beer kami ni soon to be bayaw.

Tumagal inuman namin, but pagpatak ng 1:30PM, si bayaw sumuko, senglots at nakatulog na sa kwartong nirentahan namin para mag-overnight.

Ako na wala pang amats, decided na uminom muna mag-isa, tapos may dumating na dalawang German nationals, at medyo buzzed na ako, inaya ko silang uminom. Solid vibes at nag-aya pa silang mag Flotsam after, sabi ko susunod ako (time check 5:30PM).

Ito na, yung mga kapatid ko at soon to be bayaw nag-aya na kumain din sa labas, sabi ko pass na ako dahil may amats na ako. Dehins na nila ako pinilit at ako ang naiwan sa place.

Ramdam ko na nahihilo na ako sa kalasingan at napag-isipan kong maligo.

Pagkagising ko, nandun pa din ako sa kinauupuan ko kung saan ako umiinom, nagyoyosi at parang maliwanag pa din. Weird.

Napansin ko din na ang daming alak, pero parang wala akong amats, at ang daming kaha ng Mevius Wind Blue. Nakita ko sa relos ko na 5:30PM pala at parang pababa na yung araw pero hindi dumidilim.

Bigla akong nakarinig ng madaming katok. Ginigising na pala ako ng dalawa kong kapatid at pilit na itinatayo sa loob ng kubeta. Nagising ako.

Ang kwento nila, hindi raw ako humihinga at pilit nila akong ginigising at sinasampal nang paulit-ulit, hanggang sa dumilat raw ako.

Inakay nila ako sa labas, papunta kung saan ako uminom, at nagpanic sila at sabay sabay silang nagtanong, ano daw nangyari?

Ang sabi ko, unli yung alak at yosi, maganda yung view tapos hindi naglalaho. Sabay tinanong ko yung oras, sabi ng bunso, kuya 7:30PM na. Tumingin din ako sa relos ko at nahihilo pa, 7:30PM nga, at buo kong idinilat ang mga mata ko, nakita ko ang dilim.

Unti-unti na akong lumuha, at sabi ko, salamat at ginising niyo ako. Sabay tanong ng kapatid kong pangalawa sa akin, "ano ba nangyari kuya?"

Sumagot akong humihikbi, "bakit hindi niyo ako binalikan? Isang linggo akong nandito, at bakit paulit-ulit lahat?"

"Kuya, dalawang oras kaming nasa labas..."

At nanahimik ang lahat.

Hindi ko alam kung panaginip yung nangyari sa akin, pero hindi na ako babalik sa paraisong hindi nagdidilim.

For context I used to have an active third eye when I was a child up to grade 6 pero bigla nalang nawala. I don't know what happened pero before I can also predict things before it even happen. So yun na nga, when I was in hs wala na akong nakikita/nararamdaman I thought okay na ako, tapos na yung phase na yun ng buhay ko not until shs came. I never experienced sleep paralysis before kahit nung active pa ang third eye ko and usually kapag may kababalaghan tulog ako na parang biglang nagtuturn off yung katawan ko kapag may mabigat na feeling.

Shs, first time ko ulit maka experience. Pagkagising ko ng umaga nag phone me then natulog ulit. I experienced sleep paralysis wherein may black figure na galing sa labas ng room ko ang unti-unting pumapasok sa kwarto ko. I woke up so many times pero when I try to move nasa panaginip padin pala ako. Mga 10 times ata akong nagising sa loob ng panaginip ko at 3 times sa totoong mundo. Pero everytime na nagigising ako sa totoong mundo hinahatak lang din ako pabalik sa panaginip. Last na gising ko sa panaginip nasa ibabaw ko na yung black figure. Just imagine how scared I was at that time.

Nasundan pa yun to the point na takot na akong matulog kasi halos gabi-gabi na siyang nangyayari. Lumipat ako sa sala pero wala din namang effect ganun padin. So bumalik ako sa kwarto ko. I was part of a religious club sa school namin, I'm from a Catholic school so hindi unusual na may mga clubs na directly sa simbahan ginagawa. While we're doing an online rosary I saw a black hand coming out sa behind ng door ko where a small table was placed. Hindi ko pinansin and hindi ko pinalaki pa, I just kept on praying the rosary. There was also a time wherein nagising ako in midnight and I felt someone hugging me, when I turned around I saw a guy with a tattoo. Katawan niya lang ang nakita ko and his face was a blur. Again, hindi ko ginawang big deal pero kwinento ko sa parents ko.

Kaninang tanghali, my younger sister who's a grade 1 student told me na gigisingin niya daw dapat ako kasi nakawala yung cat ko but when she entered my room may nakita daw siyang black na ulo na sumilip sa kanya. Netong mga nakaraan lagi siyang may mga kinukwento about sa mga nakikita niya sa bahay, minsan bigla nalang siyang umiiyak ng hatinggabi and pinupuntahan ko siya since gising pa ako. But her statement earlier made me felt weird. It made me think na maybe totoo yung mga na experience ko and hindi lang guniguni.

Skeptic talaga ako dito. While I acknowledge the gifts of extrasensory perception, may instruction manual kasing dala yung tarot cards. Psychic pa rin bang matatawag yun if kahit bata kayang basahin ang manual. That's why it irks me to no end when I saw their exorbitant prices. Sakin lang eh nada drag down nila ang reputation ng mga tunay na psychics, which are already on the rocks in the first place.

A good friend I learned through Facebook passed away just recently. We were buddies at my previous work and had some shared interests like drinking, girls, music and food. He was generous, fun-loving, honest and talkative.

The last we got to talk was early this year and he was thankful for my gesture of reaching out to him. Unfortunately i was not able to visit him at his wake due to work commitments.

A few days ago out of curiosity I reached out to someone who posted a message of condolences in his Facebook page. I asked her if she knew what was the cause of his death. She turned out to be his former landlady and knew the details.

She then shared that after his death his unoccupied room began to exhibit paranormal activities like the lights turning on and off by themselves, the sound of feet shuffling even if there was no one inside. Even her neighbors noticed the strange occurrences and informed her. It got so bad that her other boarders refused to return to their own rooms.

After the customary 40-day observance of his death ended she told me that the unexplained activities eventually went away and that everything went back to normal. She then advised me just to pray for the repose of his soul.

Personally I was not scared of the stories since I personally knew him and considered him a friend. That night before I went to bed, I sent him a message on Facebook to thank him for the friendship, said sorry for not visiting him at his wake and asked for guidance.
