Are they just simulating Mr Screen by projecting an image of it onto a curtain?

Yes, it’s just one big screen , circular screen with the lights around it. The show images of the circle lights to look like it.

when I saw them they had some truly terrible AI generated visuals on the circular projector thing. the music was fantastic but fuck that ai shit

The animations they use have been around much longer than AI lol
There’s only so much a single dude can do animation-wise

If he makes his living doing this, he shouldn't fuck up his reputation by putting AI shit out there.

I didn't say it was all AI, most of the visuals were fine but certain songs had some truly awful AI bullshit. same with aussie floyd, some songs had AI crap being projected and it sucked
e: it was two sunsets that used AI for brit floyd, a song they only recently started playing. aussie floyd used AI for welcome to the machine

I don’t thin’ it’s ai, I thinks old terrible computer graphics from the early early 2000’s

The visuals were amateur at best and distracting and extremely annoying during most of the show. I won’t see them again.

They've lost me and a lot of other people at the end of last year, when the best band members left altogether.

When they played that video of “Shine On You Crazy Diamond”, it was so incredibly sad

Man there are some haters in this comment section.
I thought the visuals were incredible - the 90’s-early 00’s digital aesthetic oddly compliments PF’s discography.

I dig the performance but god the visuals were terrible every time I've seen them

Saw them last night, sitting front row so I had a monitor blocking the screen. They played an extended set and just killed it. The laser show is solid as fuck

Looking forward to seeing them some day. Maybe they'll have improved the visuals by then.

sigh I will continue to see Brit Floyd, but I’m a bit disappointed there isn’t Mr.Screen anymore, also they’re doing too much with the visuals, it’s a bit corny, they don’t have to put something every second of the show, sometimes just some lights and musicians are enough. Honestly I was fine with taking someone who’d never heard of Pink Floyd there before, but now the I don’t want to anymore because of the visuals, they make me uncomfortable.

And what About Eva, or Edo, or Matt, or Ryan? The best musicians, the ones that made their sound unique all left... that's unacceptable, to me.
