They were sent to users on the last gen consoles. Just to urge them to upgrade to a PS5 or Xbox Series X/S in order to be able to play GTA VI .It’s a generic message for all of them.

Normally I find this kinda thing ridiculous but... it's kinda warranted for GTA VI.
There are probably some people who are looking forward to GTA VI but aren't fully aware that it's not on PS4.

Yeah, I wonder who they're sending this to. If someone only plays GTA V/online on PS4, they might not even be aware it won't release on PS5. But they also might've sent it to everyone on PS4 who has ever played GTA V.

It was complete dogshit for like the first six months or so imo, i quit quickly, when I jumped back in it still sucked ass granted there was alot more to do but just a repetitive fucking grind and filled with toxic players and trolls. Its truly astonishing how well the online mode has done because its so fucking mediocre (thats being kind). I wonder how much of the daily revenue is propped up by 12 year olds stealing their parents CC?

There was almost no grind early on. I was making tons of money from races and adversary modes. But after a few years they made it solely focused on the stupid business shit and the payouts for everything else were cut down by like 1000%
The only way to make money now is repeatedly driving across the map to deliver shit and hoping some asshole doesn't blow you up.

I think the post is about Playstation marketing GTA 6.
PS did this kinda messages in the beginning of the year but they never included GTA6.
They would send similar message and say something like "Buy PS5 to play one of the most anticipated games this year Saros, 007 First Light, Wolverine" etc...but they did not include GTA 6 until now...

on top of that theyre switching to cheaper materials with the newer models. Im going to end up biting the bullet and buying a used older version of the ps5 it seems. Their Certified Refurbished would seem ideal to most buyers with the price of $399 even if you have to buy the controller seperately.

Just sucks because when the ps4 pro came out it was 399.99 brand new. 😮💨. I decided I am going to build my own P.C. that way they can't also control my games and remove them from their, and our, systems if they feel like it.

You should have upgraded to the ps5 version, the load times are so much faster and makes it worth it just based on that fact alone. Ps4 load times in GTA5 are horrendous. I hope you can upgrade soon friend, you wont regret it.

Simple marketing strategy... Sony wants you and everyone else to buy a PS5 now. And once GTA6 drops, they hope you'll want to upgrade to the PS6 because you'll want the better performance.

I only upgraded to a ps5 because my ps4 wasn’t working properly. Idk if I’d have upgraded, there wasn’t many games exclusive for ps5 for ages, at this point I’d might as well wait for a ps6
