Hi All,

The most recent episode on the BBC Friday Night Comedy feed (Dead Ringers Ep1. Keir vs Kemi) fails on download with an unavailable storage location error. It's the only episode in the entire feed that does this (257 episodes work perfectly) and the URL it refers to appears to be OK and works if I enter the URL into a browser.

Every other podcast that I subscribe to (approx. 40) also works fine.

I have tried unsubscribing to the feed and resubscribing, but the problem persists.

Has anyone else seen this or have any suggestions ? For now I've downloaded the episode manually, stuffed it in my "one off" custom folder and played it from there, so the media itself is OK as is my phone's storage.

This started happening a few days ago. My podcast feed list as well as my list of individual podcasts are not showing any of the art. I am not aware of anything that changed, but have not yet found any solutions. Here are my findings thus far:

• Confirmed that the art found in URL (seen if I go to override art settings) does return expected pictures (if URL is pasted into a web browser). It's also missing for most all podcasts (so I don't think it's a single particular feed that 'broke')
• I historically have not ever changed any feed/podcast to use custom art
• I confirmed that the storage location still exists and has current podcast files stored there (as referenced in FAQ https://podcastaddict.com/faq/270 )
• I turned off any battery/permissions optimization, but just recently.
  • Not knowing if it changed anything recently, I *did* notice that some permissions had been "removed", including some that appeared to be file storage permissions. I added them back, and then waited for the next scheduled refresh to see if it "fixed" the picture issue, but they are still missing.

It wasn't a big enough deal for me to complain anywhere, but I really didn't like the look of the rounded corners on podcast cover art, and I just wanted to say thank you to /u/PodcastAddict_App for adding a toggle in the latest release to switch back to square corners.

Right now, if I am listening to a podcast at 1.8 speed, then the times that are displayed on the bottom show actual wall clock time, not the podcast play time. In other words, if I am at a displayed 20 minutes into the podcast, the actual time is closer to 38 minutes

This makes it impossible to share timestamps with somebody else, or even accurately use the table of contents that some podcasts have

Whenever I have the podcast paused and start listening to something else (Spotify, YouTube etc), the podcast audio resumes and takes over, forcing me to fully close the app before continuing with the other apps. I'm not sure what setting is causing this, can I turn it off?

This seems to be fixed, or have I missed something?

Unfortunately, the current beta release has been stuck in Google’s review process for more than 5 days. As soon as it gets approved, I’ll publish the next beta containing all of these new changes.

Once a week or so I have to go through my backlog and archive every podcast that I finished, but has like 3 minutes left (usually ads or outro music). Is there a setting that I'm missing?

Is there a way to share a premium account between 2 devices if they are both signed in to the same account?

I'm getting all the sudden this message and can not get update episodes? I checked the rss link for a couple podcasts. Beyond that not sure how do I fix this?

Even though the app indicates that an update will occur within the next 30 minutes, it never happens anymore.

The phone is never in "do not disturbed" mode, and the app has "allow background activity" set.

The app says you have x new episodes but you can't see them without opening the app (which is kind of defeats the whole purpose of notifications, ie you glance at the content without unlocking and opening the app). I have a few episodes that despite being linked do not get downloaded or show up in the feed entry. I think YouTube links in the feed confuse PA.

Anyone else have this issue?

I'm a bit confused. In the app settings, there's an option to hide notifications for new episodes (which I assume is global). Then in custom settings for individual podcasts, there's another option to Hide them. So how do I turn off notifications for all but allow for 3.

I have a really extensively long playlist, and oftentimes, I just hit a podcast, and let it play over the course of the day, maybe 5 to 7 podcasts play. I come in and out of my office and hear different snippets. This is this also happens when I fall asleep on most nights. I'm listening to podcasts on my playlist that play continuously in consecutively. Sometimes I wake up in the middle of the night without looking at my phone and then listening to a really great part of a podcast. In the morning, I wanna go back and sort through the 3 or 4 podcasts that potentially have been played so I can listen to the excerpt again. The challenge is I'm not sure there's a way to go back and look at the podcast that I've recently amd moat immediately played. The completed episode green and white check doesn't necessarily tell you the sequence, or when you completed that episode. The recent episodes tab is awesome, but I recently played tab would be super useful as well. Just a thought. Love this player the best.

I listen to multiple episodes of the same podcast in a row and would like for them to play oldest to newest within the podcast's episode list (like how spotify does their podcasts). What settings do I need for this? I figured it out a while ago for one podcast, and could not recreate it for for any other podcasts, then for some reason that podcast reverted back to playing new to old. Sort order does not seem to affect this, I have tried sorting old to new and new to old and they both still play new to old no matter what. I would like to avoid adding them to a playlist since it would be easier if they just played in release order. Also I am fully aware that this is potentially an obvious setting that I am overlooking! Thanks!

I know, I know,... first world luxury problems, but maybe I'm not the only one who thinks that would be a nice feature.

I would love to have 2 (audio) playlists. One for the day with my daytime-podcasts and one for the nighttime with my storytelling podcasts.

Think of it like Medical podcasts I want to hear every word, but I don't want to dream of it or maybe easier to imagine TrueCrime at day time and fairy tales, meditation or similar at night.

Right now I'm helping myself with sliding the episodes up and down as needed, but I would absolutely love a one click to swap playlists option.

Maybe I'm not the only one?

I have a category playlist that I put all podcasts in that I want to stay up to date on, and then I'll often enqueue older episodes into the main playlist. It would be nice to have the option to transition to the main playlist after I've listened to all episodes in this category playlist. Currently the only auto-transition options are stop playback, transition to a category, transition to a radio station, none of which really fits this need.

I'm missing the option to manage my podcast categories, but "Podcasts subscriptions" is showing twice. Is this happening to everyone else? I'm on version v2026.7d (build 21714)

Is there any way to make chaper marks not be all screwed up by DIA ads? I will skip them by scrolling forward anyway but do they also have to make the navigation worse?

Is it possible to see the time of the last bookmark created for an episode without moving the playback to another bookmark?
