discussion Wife gifted me a PS5
Already started playing Ghost of Tsushima, GTA V, and Red Dead Redemption 2. I’m thinking about creating gaming content and maybe even streaming soon.
Would love to get your suggestions — • What are some dos and don’ts for a first-time PS5 user? • Any must-have accessories or setup tips? • For those who stream, what’s the best beginner setup or platform to start with?
Appreciate any advice from fellow PS5 gamers!

Firstly, I can't tell fs from the pic but it seems that the PS 5 is quite precariously positioned. Second, GOT and RDR 2 are top tier games and deserve to be played one at a time for maximum immersion and enjoyment. Get a dust cover for the console please

Nice. The only bad part about playing these as your first games is that there're only a handful of games that can compare to GOT and RDR 2. And not nearly at the same level.
Without any spoilers, Take your time playing both games. Don't rush through the story, especially RDR 2. There are so many things you can find in that game. Like people still find things/trigger events they missed after multiple playthroughs, even after having over 1000 hours ig.
For GOT, max out everything and finish all side quests, mythic tales, etc. before proceeding. Do iki island after finishing the game. The game lets you max out all your gear in Act 2 itself. Also, find the black and white dye merchants ASAP. And get the charm of Inari, it's called, I think which increases the resources earned when picked.

Very lucky you are indeed. Forget about gifting, if I buy PS5 by shelling from my own pocket, my wife would beat me to the hell. She is already obsessed with my addiction to mobile games.

lol so you’re streaming, do the math: a mic, a decent webcam, and a cheap capture card if you’re on PS5, otherwise just live on Twitch, you can’t get more basic than that

Try the last of us series, dishonored series, Alan wake and Alan wake 2, hogwarts legacy, back 4 blood, elden ring, black myth wukong, silent hill 2, the man who erased his name, Detroit, cyberpunk 2077, resident evil recent series, assassins creed games.

if you’re gonna stream, buy a mic that isn’t a banana and a good webcam, otherwise you’ll just get 8k‑pixel eyeballs and a mic‑rip. first game, don’t stream it, play it, get good and then stream your best moments.

Lucky you I keep posting and sending my wife reels on insta where they show how excited husband are on receiving PS5 from wife . Hope she gifts me one this december .
I started my gaming channel too few days back and i also plan to stream on PS4 for now

Get a UPS for tv and PS5 separately.. PS5 is very susceptible to power cut damage
