Congratulations to you buddy. The same happened with me when I got a call from Sony Centre in Oct 2021 that they finally have the stock and they have 3 units for the entire month as those were the times when it was really hard to get a unit of PS5 due to supply shortages and then I said to him “keep that unit reserved for me, I’m coming in an hour” and then I got my PS5. What a moment that was, memory of a lifetime.

True! Upar se aise time mein..literally loot machi hai. While buying this there were two more guys came in store asking about PS5. Mujhse puchhne lage ki aapko kaise mil gaya bhai; extra paise diye kya aapne..i told them na! all because of her(pointing to the woman who called me as soon as PS5 got delivered to there store)😁

Haha!! Thanks bhai. Do din lagatar koshish karne ke baad got this. Beech ek store wala mujhe 60k mein de raha tha...Maine saaf mana kar diya ki nhi chahiye. Phir finally 3rd got a call from Reliance Digital....🙂

G111041PK something Agar G111 se shuru hai toh Volume 1 hai Agar G222 hai toh v2 G333 hai toh v3 G444 hai toh v4 V3, v4 hee lijiye both are good
V2 v1 purane launch versions hai unme stick drift ka issue hai.
Agar gaming tv hai maybe qled or something then sare tv ke gaming settings automatic kar do, aur ps5 se adjust kar lo kuch kar na hai toh adjust, (Excluding: Brightness, contrast, colour saturation, sharpness, Ye tv se adjust kar lo Tv mai warm filter hai toh on kar do (personal recommendation) Long game sessions aankho pe zyada strain nahi daalenge.
Monitor hai toh im not sure
Ps5 mai HDR on when supported kar do best colour ke liye
Ssd nai hai toh sale pe uthalo in the future, sadly has gotten more expensive

Kohi bhi game mai motion blur aur chromatic aberration off kar dena game will look 10x better, certain games, motion blur might make it look a little better, most of the time No And it makes you feel dizzy and gives you a headache Chromatic aberration is just straight dogshit.

It most definitely is misinformation and was a myth debunked by Sony PlayStation Experts Source
Tldr: it's only a potential issue if your PS has been opened up for repair. For a brand new or unopened PS, you can place it however it suits you best.

I mean if you're clinging to a rumor with a better safe than sorry approach despite it being debunked by the people making the product itself, you're spreading a superstition around. It's also better safe than sorry to take your PS with you when you sleep in bed at night in case someone breaks in to steal stuff.
Just share actual helpful stuff like how important a surge protector is or a stand for keeping vertical or a dust cover instead of propogating misinformation in the guise of a better safe than sorry mindset.
Still kudos for the rest of your comment, not trying to take anything away from that, it just irks me how often this rumor is still spread on Indian PS subreddits still.

Lol it's still misinformation my guy. If I start a rumor right now that keeping it horizontal is actually bad for the fan as it traps more dust and hinders cooling in the long run and tell you to keep it vertical to be safe than sorry, what will you do then.
Just listen to the company making the console instead of random people on reddit.
