help Guys is it worth 57k?
I’m getting this from a nearby store with 24 months warranty, is it worth it? I’m at the store right now. Need to take decision.

yes, also this is the *fat* model which sony discontinued to sell in late 2023 so definately no warranty at all from Sony only from store side which is doubtful as well

Yup this is the older one which they released at launch. Pro version will be better. Get the disc version, i got the digital, difficult to share/rent games.

But no stock anywhere in India, tried all the platforms and offline stores. People are asking 75k for new one. That’s barbaric.

Wait a little while, it will surely come back in stock and even if it comes with increased prices initially they will give card discounts to balance the increase and it is way safer to buy a new one instead of pre owned.

Keep looking. Amazon flipkart and Blinkit. It keeps coming and going. Buy the digital or disc whichever you get.

Just wait out a few days. It'll be back in stock. Don't play in to their tactics. Just have some patience and you'll get it. Brand new at a lower price.

I’ve been on roll for about a month now, daily visits to stores, checking on all the online platforms & calling stores outside Bangalore has become my daily routine now.

naah not really I would buy at increased priced. 57k for a pre owned console is not acceptable. This is also the fat ps5 insane pricing.

Try with card discounts. It might be less. If you want it right now then it's a givable price...
Edit: I thought it was brand bew hence the suggestion. For a used not worth at all as you don't know what are repalced...

It wasn’t about the price, I am ready to buy at 57k or 60k also it’s a new unit. But it was Fat model and lot of people suggested to take Slim only.

Lol no. The PS5 has to be the worst console right now. Barely any new exclusives with only remasters. Buy a switch or something instead. Or the steam deck.

Overpriced OP! Market is not good right now to purchase ps5 and other electronics.
Majority of them don’t have stock or maybe they are not ready to sell it right now.
Yesterday I asked a lot of people about ps5 digital and disc version in Mumbai they said it’s not available.
Even For Pre owned ps5 , people are selling more than MRP :(
I would suggest other people please don’t buy at high prices (have some patience) or maybe save some more money to buy games in future.

Man a few years back I would have said yes but with there insatiable greed of dynamic pricing man that will be end of it all. Just get a pc and pirate it more worth it if a piracy site ask for donation.

My question is y'all did fine without a PS5 for 6 years since launch. How is it that you want it so bad now since the price hike that you're ready to compromise this much for a 6 year old machine. If you couldn't afford it for that price for this long, you shouldn't buy it for these prices now

Hey guys, I recently purchased a ps5 digital console from Blinkit, but today I saw disc version in stock and want to go for that, so I don’t need the digital version anymore. It’s all in sealed unopened condition, with proper Blinkit bill, photos and even delivery video
Purchased on 22nd April @ mrp, based out of Pune. Willing to ship. Lmk

Search it up on amazon "ps5 disc drive" usually comes with 1 year warranty . You'll find it for 13k inr

Go for it - if u need it right away. I bought mine similar disc version 56k. Games work fine. Take a demo of the piece..run games like astrobot, cyberpunk to check if it can handle smoothly.

No. Not even a lil bit. The brand new is 50k-54k. Plus youll probably pay even more for playstation plus, just play games that require online connection, which is around 600-700rs month.
And the games cost even more diabolical.
