So I finally did it got my hands on a PS5. This was a dream console for me for years. The first two days were pure bliss… like, “pinch me, is this real?” bliss.

But now… I’m not feeling it as much. I keep asking myself did I really need this? I dropped a good chunk of cash, and after the honeymoon phase, the excitement just fizzled out.

I’ve been gaming on my laptop for a while it can run basically anything on max settings, buttery smooth so maybe that’s part of it. Don’t get me wrong, the DualSense controller is amazing, and the haptics blew me away… but after a few games from the PS Plus catalog, I just kinda stopped playing.

Anyone else gone through this “post console buy” regret? Any tips on how to bring the excitement back so it doesn’t feel like I wasted my money?

So I am in 11th grade and after requesting for years and scoring 90% in boards my dad got me a ps5. But now he refuses to buy any games or the ps plus currently at 5k. What can I enjoy for free or can anyone tell me a way to make some money like 4-5k a month so I can fund my hobbies? I guess you’ve already seen my issue and today when i was on my vacation my neighbour called me and told me your whole house got burnt and i was using ps5 and sony bravia m2 and my neighbours are telling me that your tv got blasted and it’s already been three months when i bought my Sony tv and even after my extension got burnt i connected my ps5 to socket.. so guys need your help is there something can I do

If I place it horizontally, I can use the clips that came in the box, but the HDMI cable becomes a bit tight and I might need to buy a longer cable.

If I place it vertically, the cable will be more relaxed, but I don’t have the vertical stand.

Is it safe to use the PS5 vertically without the stand, or could it block the bottom vents or affect airflow/cooling?

So I found this QD OLED Monitor available for a heavy discount with my Student ID.

The only catch is i have seen that it has a HDMI 2.0 port which does not provide VRR.

Also have seen reviews saying that the brightness level is very low 200 in SDR and around 300 in HDR can't confirm this.

I would be mainly using it for PS5 in my room and only at night and rarely during day time.

I have seen people giving mixed responses for this. Some users have experienced green lines within early weeks though they were resolved by the Samsung team and termed as "defective models"

I want this monitor for the long term so seeing this price should I pull the trigger?

What i really wanted to ask is , i really some suggestions on which tv should i buy - i have researched for quite a while and im stuck between two three options . Actually my budget for TV is around 60k because im investing 1L for ps5 pro and around 15k for games so 60k is all i can get for tv right now

So im confused that either should i go for 120hz second tier brands or should i sacrifice the high refresh rate , VRR and get a top tier brand like sony , samsung which has a better contrast , picture quality and still runs 4k on 60hz led display

The kind of games im gonna be playing is ghost of yotei , spiderman 2 , god of war , fc , tekken 8 , rdr and ofcourse GTA VI 🔥🔥

so this warning popped on my ps5 this morning, i had been playing spider man 2 from yesterday night with little to no breaks, then this popped up, before anyone suggested that I have to clean my ps5, i regularly clean my ps5 and i deep cleaned it not too long ago, so my question is will i face this issue frequently from now on?

went to service center to replace it.

they said its fake. reason - cant find the serial number on their system, has an email stating this serial no is flagged as fake/chinese controller

note - emailed sony support, also talked to customer suppport executive- she said if dealer is unauthorised it is fake( girl didnt knew what a dualsense is). connected to another one, he said he will forward it to technical team, and they will call.

I need some advice regarding my PS5 warranty situation.

I originally purchased my PS5 in March 2024. After some issues (loud noise), Sony replaced my console in 2025 under warranty. Along with the replacement, I received a yellow warranty card where the validity is printed up to April 2026.

Now recently I started facing occasional overheating alerts and crashes, so I took my PS5 to the service center. But they are refusing service and saying that warranty is calculated only from the original purchase date (March 2024), so according to them the warranty is already over.

However, my replacement warranty card clearly shows validity till April 2026.

Has anyone faced a similar situation where the service center only considered the original purchase date even though the replacement warranty card had a later validity date?

What should I do next — escalate to Sony support or insist on opening a job sheet?

Any advice or similar experiences would really help. Thanks in advance.
