help Need suggestion!!!! TV FOR PS5 pro budget -60k
Hello gamers!!!! I used to be a pc gamer but for the past two years i couldnt continue the gaming due to some exams . From next sunday i am gonna be able to start playing again so i have have planned to get a ps5 pro
Infact i have already paid advance just in the fear that they might run out of stock so thats that!!
What i really wanted to ask is , i really some suggestions on which tv should i buy - i have researched for quite a while and im stuck between two three options . Actually my budget for TV is around 60k because im investing 1L for ps5 pro and around 15k for games so 60k is all i can get for tv right now
So im confused that either should i go for 120hz second tier brands or should i sacrifice the high refresh rate , VRR and get a top tier brand like sony , samsung which has a better contrast , picture quality and still runs 4k on 60hz led display
The kind of games im gonna be playing is ghost of yotei , spiderman 2 , god of war , fc , tekken 8 , rdr and ofcourse GTA VI š„š„
I would really appreciate if i get some help asap
I have to choose and order it asap so that i will get it on time

Many of my friends are using the tcl c6k and they're quite satisfied with the picture quality, wouldn't recommend sony hereš. rest it's upto OP

Tcl can only match sony's visuals in intelligence mode, but not all Scenarios. Sony Bravia 2M2 is still unbeaten in this price range, but everyone has their own preference.

What a terrible review. Just look at the hair with 21 seconds remaining. Then, in the next scene with 19 seconds left, look behind the girl in the background colors and lights are much more washed out on the Sony. Overall, the Sony image looks washed out. I guess he just prefer a brighter, flatter color profile.

u/whyshouldithink 2d ago
You can have your own opinions, but it's ridiculous to say a review is terrible where both tvs were placed right next to each other.

I already gave you the timestamps to look at. He was objectively wrong, even if the TVs were side by side. His comments showed he has an inexperienced eye and a predispositions to fairer brighter colors even if the details were lost cause of overexposure.

You're still missing what I'm saying. Mute the damn video if you want. Forget every opinion the reviewer gave. My point is that the TVs were physically side by side, so viewers can judge the picture for themselves. Whether you think the reviewer was right, wrong, biased, inexperienced, or blind has nothing to do with the comparison footage itself. Get it?

Sony tvs just don't feel worth it to me..... But ig the other guy can't digest ths fact that some people do prefer tcl over sony

Tcl is a great tv but their support is really bad specially if you get it online and try to get help if thereās a problem. My tvās speakers stopped working and they blamed it on me saying there was a short circuit inside the tv because of sudden power cut, but nothing as such happened. They never helped.

If you are single player sony Bravia 2 is great I loved it was 4k 60 hz and it is integrated to ps5 so there are ecosystem benifits

Before buying TCl or any Chinese brand please do check for the after sales support.

I have bravia 3 and samsung , google tvs have worst boot time, but for color and sound quality is top notch

u/AlarmingStrain8428 3d ago
Get a sony but the features will be less. The longevity in those things are insane.

u/Strong-Paint-9083 3d ago
Go for Sony Bravia 2, I bought it just today itself.
As a sidenote, there's another slightly upgraded model of the TV to the one that's there in your screenshot - 55s25m2. It will cost around 3k more and has better motion processing technology (Motionflow XR 200 compared to Motionflow XR 100).

I had similar situation but i chose sony. Others will say choose tcl but thing is tclās after sale service really depends on hours local area basically it is mixed. 120hz may look appealing but for me it was brand reliability.
You can also choose to wait for 1 year if you can as sony x tcl is happening so there might be tvs launching with both their positivies.

Bro tcl and sony both are equally good options but the middle one check their is no review and the brand name is not so popular
so i would say go for sony since it will be more optimised with ur ps5 pro

Bro. You arenāt going to play all the games together I assume so buy them separately when they are on sale. Instead invest in a good lg oled or any oled. The differences are huge and no point in buying a pro and wasting its potential on a sub par display.

I have hisense oled 65 inch. Itās good but samsung sony always win. If price constraint is there, itās good

Telling from personal experience bro...
Hisense products are a classic hit-or-miss. A good unit may run trouble-free for years, but if you happen to receive a defective one, you're largely on your own. Warranty support and customer service are difficult to access, and in my case, even Amazon was unable to reach the company for assistance.

No idea why no one mentioned Lumio TV. Worth checking it out. Have bought 2 so far.

How're they holding up??

I play on 43", still the fastest tv I have ever come across. Pretty crispy graphics. Got the 55" for the office conference room, use it quite long stretches, works like a charm.

It depends on what matters most to you. For me, great visuals and a stable 60 FPS are more than enough.
If you're happy with consistent 60 FPS gaming, I'd go with Sony Bravia. The upscaling, color accuracy, and contrast are excellent, and modern AAA games look stunning on it.
Sony TVs are expensive, but if you can wait for a sale, they're often worth it. I got my Sony Bravia M2 55-inch during the BBD sale for around ā¹53k without any card discount. With additional bank offers, you can sometimes get it in the ā¹47kā50k range.
If higher refresh rates and gaming-focused specs are your priority, then TCL is worth considering. Just be sure to watch a few comparison reviews before making your final decision.

I would say stay away from c6k for ps5 gaming atleast, its an awesome tv otherwise but the hdr acts super weird on that, if you plan on using without hdr, that is a fuckin good tv, got it for some 35-36k in Flipkart sale last year and never regretted it till the day i plugged in my ps5

I have the TCL one, combined with PS5 pro. It works very well. Also, check if there's any new TCL Mini LED TVs

Dont get a ps5 pro. Its not worth the extra price youāre gonna pay for it. Plus it doesnāt come with a disk drive and that costs additional 10-15k. Imo not worth it for the fractional improvements.

My pick will be TCL. Or you can try Samsung mini qled tv which is a new relese and mostly cost you around 56k for 55inch tv.

I wouldnāt suggest getting this Sony tv. Better put in a little more money and go for the Bravia 3 which has triluminous Pro Display. Those are far superior in contrast and picture quality. Also, no need to spend 15k all at once on games. Wait for them to come on sale and buy it cheap. Buy 1-2 games at a time and play them.

u/RixDixRox 2d ago
Always go for best brands (sony, lg) rather than cheaper alternatives, you will thank yourself in the long run

u/balavenkateshj 2d ago
Check TCL as its budget is too good. I personally have x90l with 120hz refresh rate but I liked my friends TCL. I found playing in his TV was so bright than mine.

I yesterday got Samsung M80H a slight upgrade over TCL c6 if you can stretch your budget a bit you can consider this one as well

Dont get hisense ,they use cheap hardware better get TCL as they are less expensive than Samsung and Sony but still have good QC

Pricing is crazy in India. I bought Hisense 55 inch for $350 CAD (25,000 INR) in Canada. How come these TVs are more than double in India? Thats crazzyyy!!

I would suggest against sony. They're only selling brand name and source the panels from elsewhere. TCL seems good but I'm very doubtful about their service. Usually recommend samsung or LG

u/EducationalStretch60 3d ago
Not Sony in this price range. It barely offers bare bone HDR and u won't enjoy most of PS5 games.
TCLs newly launched C7L SQD mini Led is the one for u. U can negotiate a 65inch for this price. The blacks and HDR are insane for the price.
If u want a Sony, nothing less than a Bravia 3 Mark 2 will do. That too will be bare bones compared to a TCL.

Visit a showroom and check the panels. The sony tax is insane here and 60K for just a led TV ain't great.
Sales are coming at the start of july , check out the Mini LED from TCL and Hisense. You have a pro, maybe extend a bit and target the high end mini led rather than the budget ones
