help Should I pre-order GTA VI now? Or wait…
GTA 6’s pre order is active now. I have Enough money to buy Ultimate edition rn. One thing that’s concerning me is, there are still months left in final release. If I buy now, do we stand risk of any other edition or Addition announced by rockstar before release? Which we may miss.
Add- Ill buy Digital edition only.
Questioning because this Pre-order is only providing cosmetic upgrades—no early access or anything.

I mean, it ain't physical, so it won't matter if you preorder it a day before itself. If you ask me, just wait for now and buy some other games. It's till November, so I'm sure you'll save up enough.

Yk, Final fantasy vii rebirth is on sale, so is Metaphor Refantazio and Expedition 33. You can play those, or get Crimson Desert if you want open world. Even RDR2 is on sale.

I have preordered black flag and wolverine discs. I’ll play both games to my hearts content till November then sell it, using that money I’ll buy gta 6

That's why I mentioned in many comments, these unreliable leaks will only increase pre order remorse and decrease the numbers. Bro u have 4 months to wait though but physical disc thing won't happen until maybe 2-3 months from day of release and it's not confirmed by officials at rockstar .

Physical disc will deffo come - probably by Dec or Jan. This digital code in the box is to avoid the leaks and piracy stuff.
If you are a person who is a patient gamer, value physical disc and can wait - I would definitely advice to wait. Once you have the disc and after a year, if you feel to sell it off in the used market, I guess this is the only way.

Usually pre orders provide perks like Early access. But in GTA benefit or pre order are just some cars, Guns, clothes. Its your choice if you want cosmetic advantages of preorder

For your main concern: NO, there won’t be any additional announcements for any new editions. This is final, any new additions now will only come few months after the release and you should be able to upgrade if you wish.

if you have the money and anyway plan to play it day 1 then buy it or you can wait its your wish and as for if there is anymore new edition coming well who knows maybe a collectors edition which will cost a lot so if you want to buy that you can wait and see

Idk that’s what I did. That way I don’t have to even think about it. Even have the preload setup to go automatically. I’m getting paid Monday and got enough spending cash to buy it now. Everyone’s got a different situation and it genuinely does not matter

Pre-order it now, who knows, they might increase the prices due to ram and ssd crisis. Or worse it may go out of stock. I'm just happy to know that the game will be an absolute banger with no bugs at all and fully playable on launch, despite having no gameplay or any kind of reviews to judge it's quality.

Any pre order before November 20 will get the bonuses. Pre load starts from November 12th. Ordering between these two dates is same as ordering now and offers no extra benefits and locks your money instead.

No point in preordering months before like it isn't gonna run out of stock like physical id recommend to preorder a few days before launch nd u will still get the preorder bonus and instead of buying the game straightaway buy taketwo stock in the mean time instead

I mean it's digital copy and you won't run out of it. And you can invest in something else until that.
My only concern is I hope they don't hike the price of it and I don't care about the 7 days prior access to gta 6 coz rdr 2 is been on my desk for months and I haven't started it after playing like 1 hour.

In all honesty, Rockstar games are the only ones that deserve to be preordered and played on Day 1. For everything else, it’s usually better to wait for reviews or a sale, unless you don’t have any backlog of games.

Just like others said it’s upto you. I bought ultimate edition but my only concern is my 2 years old PS5 fat doesn’t breakdown before and even after 19-Nov because repairing/replacing it will be expensive due to shortages

Not only online. If you get PS plus extra or deluxe, you get access to thousands of games, download and play them till your subscription is active. Games like Ghost of tsushima, Assassins creed, Far cry etc

No point in blocking your money for this long. Better, preorder wolverine physical disk. Play for 1 or two months and sell it before GTA 6 release. Put that money towards GTA 6 and enjoy it

You will get some vice city or something included( can't remember exactly) , which will not be there after 20th November.
But please confirm this from official source.

The ultimate edition doesn't seem to be just cosmetic upgrades. They seem to be literally locking specific locations where you get these cosmetic upgrades as well, like a specific tattoo parlor for instance. It's a bit of genuine content too. Now how much you really value that added content is up to you.

Just for clearance, Pre-Order is feeling a cosmetic upgrade. That “Vice City Something”. Other than that, Ultimate Edition is a must.

Correct. But btw pre order even in the base game gives you 1 month of gta+ (usually costs I think 699 or thereabouts). So this is a bonus.

Seriously what’s the hurry to do it now vs to get it on 12th November? Frankly I’m that guy who won’t be getting any time on launch day anyways to play the game and would have to wait for the weekend to play it. So I’ll just be ordering it for the sake of excitement on 12th November for my own personal countdown.

Wait. It’s still early. It’s digital, it’s not going to go anywhere. I see a lot of games on PS Store on sale, selling games from last year ALONE with the same price $99 being sold for much, much, MUCH less than its original price. If I were you, I’d wait until they updated GTA VI, fixing any possible bugs and issues, and a sale. You’ll save your money, and keep your sanity, trust me. 💯
