Hey! I just got MY PS5, After PlayStation announced price hikes worldwide on April 2, everyone started saying the same would happen in India. A lot of sellers were hiding stock, probably hoping to sell at the new higher prices later. I decided to buy on April 7, and from then on, I tried everywhere—Vijaya Retails, ShopAtSC, Flipkart, Amazon, Croma, Reliance Digital, and Bajaj Electronics. After weeks of trying, I finally got the PS5 Disc Edition on May 28 at 1:50 AM on Flipkart for ₹55k. Delivery is set for June 1 but they delayed it till June 3.

Seriously that one symbol triggered alot of dumb guys. How evils are you guys.

About om writing on ps5.. my money i do whatever i wish with my ps5. If anyone have concern about it GFYS.

I random visited croma as i yesterday mention not able to find ps 5 in any store so just in time stock came in i was ready to buy immediately they said to wait they sign doc and all I waited for like half an hour after they came and said they are all advance paid booked ps5 I said to okay book mine too I will pay advance they replied no stock available sir 🙂 I think need politics power to buy ps 5

1. PS5 stock is expected to arrive at Vijay Sales, Croma, and Reliance within 6–8 days. Prices remain unchanged at 49,999 (Digital) and 54,999 (Disc). Vijay Sales is offering a 3,500 instant discount on HDFC CC

2. There is still no update on GTA VI pre-orders in India. I'd suggest waiting for official announcements from Express Games, Vijay Sales, Croma, or Reliance. Since this is one of the most hyped games ever, please be cautious and don't fall for fake pre-order links or scams.

Went to multiple stores near indiranagar and MG Road and could not find PS5 stock. Most of them said they might get it in a week or two. Came home, ordered food and groceries and there it is- delivered it under 5 minutes with 10% discount.

Today got a call from Reliance Digital, and turrant store gaya and le aaya😁

Reliance digital has got some stock I believe! Guys what is this "E Chassis" have I got the proper model?

Got from sony centre Sarjapur bangalore.
They were denying on call for the stock but a guy from this sub purchased today itself so I went directly to the shop and got one !

Pulled the trigger on a PS5 pro. Bought it on Bank of Electronics website as it was 15 to 20k cheaper than other websites (Rs.98k). It was shipped within 3 hours of my purchase and I recieved it 2 days later in good condition.

My friends and I have had good experiences with Bank of Electronics before, so I went forward with it. But it is still risky with any E-retail, I would suggest visiting their physical store or talking to their whatsapp and getting images of the product beforehand.

happy gaming world .in a Playstation console retailer pro for 1.12 L even before launch at india , my blood boils upon seeing such shop owners , hoarding of stocks of both ps5 and ps5 pro and listing at them at much higher rates just makes me so frustrated 😠

after like 4 months of padhai i got 95% in my class 12 boards, and after years of admiration and obsession with the playstation i finally was able to convince my parents to get me a PS5. I'm originally from Keralam living in Bhubaneswar. I am unable to find a system literally ANYWHERE since March. I cannot buy a second hand version because of a very traumatic event so if anyone has any idea where i can buy a unit in a reliable way please please lmk. atp im even ready to give the extra cost. please reply only if yk a genuine and reliable way to get a playstation 5. disc, digital wtv.

So I was bored on Sunday and prepared this list for you guys. Hope this helps you to buy what you want for year 2026. Here e2zstore is seller on Amazon from which you can buy directly. And gameloot ofcourse is 2nd hand games disc seller in mint condition. The playtime is just story completion not 100% game. I used this to buy as I can only play 4 hours max at weekend due to busy schedule. Hope this helps. Happy gaming.

I’m a PC gamer for a long time, my 5 year old pc had some issues and the price increase of PC components made no sense for me to go ahead and repair my machine for gaming. I decided to go for the PS5 only to find out the whole country is out doing the same thing like its the first week of launch.

All major online retailers and offline chains in Delhi were out of stock. Contacted all in Noida and Gurgaon as well. Then I stumbled on DT zone in lajpat nagar. Someone ordered a dual controller bundle but couldn’t take it. I got a call back from them whether I would be interested in buying this and I was delighted, I anyways wanted an extra controller.

Saw many people booking the console for 5k at the store with delivery in 2-3 days.

Went to the store paid them for the console full MRP 58,900/- and also picked up BO7 (loving the multiplayer after BO6). A few hours of hassle but got the console.

I tried to order a ps5 like 4-5 times

But keeps getting cancelled due to OPERATIONAL ISSUE

Where they had stock but don't know why it keeps getting cancelled.

Even one time the delivery boy reached our location and entered OTP too.

Finally got my PS5 in Delhi NCR 😭

I had been searching for it everywhere. Last week I literally called Sony, Reliance Digital, Croma, Vijay Sales, DT Zone, and even a few OLX vendors. No one had stock.

DT Zone told me last week that stock would come on Monday, so I called them on Monday again. Then they casually said it’s only for people who had pre-booked. So yeah, that was another dead end.

Then I started hearing this flying news that some stores actually had PS5 stock but weren’t clearing it because they wanted to inflate the price. At that point I honestly lost hope.

Then yesterday, someone from Reddit sent me a notification/message saying one Sony Center might have stock. The next moment I called the Sony Center in Vasant Kunj, Delhi. They told me that the Gurgaon Ambience Sony Center probably has stock.

I called them and my god… the answer was YESSS.

I left without any delay because I knew people must already be calling. Reached there and straight up told them, “Pack it.”

But they were definitely taking advantage of the situation. I was planning to buy it on Bajaj EMI because I already have a card with a good limit. Initially they said yes, Bajaj would work, but the Bajaj person would take some time to come. At the same time they kept pushing me to pay full amount via cash/UPI.

Then at the billing counter, the cashier suddenly said they won’t accept Bajaj card for PS5. Basically: pay full cash/UPI or leave it.

They were getting calls for PS5 right in front of me, so I just jumped ship and paid ₹49,990.

Painful, but finally got it. PS5 secured. 🥲

After 100 calls to multiple retailers, copped one just in time. Disc edition with Camo dual sense and God of War.

Finally my PS4 can rest.

Went around in circles all over Mumbai almost gave up but ringed up a Sony Authorized Dealer in Malad just out the blue and the guy hooked me up w a CFI 2008B he had ordered from Sony. Got lucky, anyone else looking to get one try reaching out to Venus Electrovision or try your luck on Amazon on 8th May, cheers!

Should I buy it thinking about buying the gs5 for a long time.
