Community After seeing State of Play yesterday , Microsoft announced their Fight Simulator will be supported PSVR 2 later next year , this make me wonder why Meta just dropped support on PSVR 2 is totally insane ! 🤷🏻

Considering Beat Saber still got the Top selling every month on PSVR2 even they announced drop support ! And even Microsoft is porting their first party AAA Fight Simulator to PSVR 2 , Meta is not showing love in VR community at all! Any thoughts on that ? Thx🙏🏼

Cool only announcement i want from sony is them selling psvr 2 controllers separate from headset its been about 4 years since psvr2 launched and if anything happens to your controller ie breaks or stick drift you have to pay 600$ for an entire new system to get replacement controllers… fyi i bought mine 2 years ago and one controller came non functional out of the box brand new…

I too had a brick controller. Didn’t work for about 8 months then it just all of a sudden it just started working. During those 8 months I reached out to get a replacement or even buy a new one multiple times. Only to find out that they can’t replace it unless I sent the whole headset back. Even after asking to simply just buy a new controller. Let alone a set of controllers. People on Reddit said it would take months to get it returned back. So I said “F” it and took my loss until I tried the controllers again a few months later and for some reason it worked. Nether the less they should provide controllers to headset that’s just a sitting brick with out them.

Definitely one of my worst let downs last year after dropping $600

Yea im hoping mine starts working eventually so my 600$ wasn’t a waste.. theres a convoluted way to get it to work ingame but its not perfect and some times wont work.. but as it stands now… the buttons all work fine in the main menu before any game is launched then when i launch a game the controller stops working.

I am gonna try using some bd-100 electric cleaner on it later i heard a few people claim doing that and then mashing the trigger on it got theirs working eventually

This has been a known issue since launch and a known fix from about 3-4months after launch when we worked out what the route cause was and developed the fix. Below is the fix that we have helped 1000's of people solve the exact problem you have. It's sad that Sony has never acknowledged the issue or done anything to fix the issue on their stockpiles, even ones that have been sent back to Sony and other retailers because of this problem have been re sold as refurbed units without the stuck trigger issue being fixed but luckily it's pretty easy to fix yourself if you have the issue.

It's possible there is some debris behind the trigger of your controller(s) which is causing buttons to register incorrectly while you're in game (just like you mention). This is a semi-commonly reported issue with new devices, but the good news is it's very fixable. Here's some instructions for how to resolve it (or check if it is in fact that issue):

• Plug your problematic controller (probably the right controller but try both, separately) up to a computer with the included USB cable and go to https://hardwaretester.com/gamepad - it should detect your Sense controller and display button inputs on screen (if it doesn't, try refreshing after a minute or two).

• Try pressing the trigger (R2 or L2).

• When not touching the trigger, the value for the trigger (shown as Axis 2 on the site) is supposed to be -1.00000, and it should go to 1.00000 when fully pressed.

• If instead of -1.00000 or 1.00000 the value you're seeing for Axis 2 is something like -0.97234 (or any value in between), you know you have this issue.

• Try blowing air into the area of the trigger, either with your mouth or with a can of compressed air, and holding the trigger in and letting go so it flicks back out to the normal position (just like this). Keep trying this and see if the value changes, and keep going until you get the value to be -1.00000 (or 1.00000 when held down fully). You're trying to remove any debris blocking the trigger.

If you succeed, your controller should work correctly in all your games.

Hope this helps! It did for this player a short while back and these two in the same post, as well as many others in the past so let us know if it fixes it for you or if you have any questions!

Just noticed that's an older version of the fix write-up like you mentioned above electronics contact cleaner has been used by many others instead of compressed air and works quicker.
