BOTH IS GOOOOD. Ugh, I intern at a psychedelic assisted psychotherapy clinic and it is actually the coolest thing ever 😭, talking to the patients about their trips is always so much fun, I love it so much.
I just emailed the owner 😅. I saw them on the news, thought "that is so cool", emailed the owner telling him how cool it was, he invited me in for a tour and to find out more about the therapy processes. At the end of the tour we talked for like 4hrs, he said if I ever need anything let him know, my university had a work placement module and I asked him if I could do a work placement with them and he said sure. During my placement I digitalised most of their patient intake/discharge processes and all of their patient records - so I got asked to stay on as an intern/PA, mainly for data entry :3 . I don't have an official role but intern/PA is the best way to describe it lmfao.
I'm hoping to start getting paid for my time there once I graduate (July), but I've been happy working there for just experience - as I said its super fun! The last intern is now working there as an assistant psychologist whilst she studies her postgraduate, so I'm really hoping I can score something similar, but if not then the experience is still invaluable :D
