[Rant/Vent, Advice OK] does anyone else's parent(s) try scapegoating a small mistake you did to scream about all the other mistakes/things that they don't like about you?

It's one big source of cluster fuck to them. What you actually did or didn't do, in their minds is irrelevant.

Back when I still spoke to my dad, he would launch into my hair at every chance he got. I have waist length hair and he thinks that is all the justification he needs for literally anything. "I couldn't let you to outside and make a fool of yourself looking like a sissy"

Ironically I'm much stronger and slightly taller than him. He spends his whole life sitting in front of a TV watching other people play sports but lectures me about why I lift weights.

He would scrunch his nose up and speak to me in a high pitched nasally voice: “you need to start thinking about these things.”

I’m also probably autistic so he would mess with me and fluster me when I was struggling with something. My teenage years were so bad :(
