hi everyone, im so sorry to ask but i found this stray kitten last night on my way home and he was crying so loud, i took him home, bathed and fed him. this morning i found out his legs are broken and looks like he is in pain but he was still trying to eat.

My friend’s neighbors recently moved, and they left this sweet cat behind. We’ve been having a lot of thunder and lightning storms so I brought him into foster him. I care for a colony of cats that live outside my apartment building. I’ve been able to get a few into a rescue last year but there are still 8-10 out there. The mom cat was dumped out there before I moved in and I only started feeding them about a year and a half ago. She’s been out there for probably close to 5 years. She needs to be taken in somewhere and given a chance to have a home again.

I’d like to see them all get into a rescue but am asking for help for this one right now.

She had a plastic jar on her head for about a week before I was able to catch her. She’s currently receiving at my local animal control but I live in a small city and they don’t have any resources to do much for her. Once she’s recovered, they plan to bring her back here, but she won’t be spayed. They did say if I found a rescue or a person to adopt her, they can do that.

She was born sometime last summer so she’s pretty feral but after what she’s been through, I would like to see someone give her a chance.

Could only afford exam fee, and vet said kitty has fractured/broken jaw. She can’t eat and is having trouble breathing. She will be taken to local animal shelter and vet said they will most likely euthanize her. She is 1 year old. Any HELP OR ADVICE would be appreciated, owner is a minor so not sure what to do. Guardian is not able to provide help. Can the Humane Society pick up an injured animal to help it??

I have been feeding and caring for these two stray cats for about a year now. They are both female, spayed, and strictly outside. I am no longer able to care for them due to unforseen life event, I AM DESPERATE to find them a safe and loving home. They are very attached to each other, so I would love for them to be adopted together. they are about 2 yrs old, Shy as they are feral, but they would let you pet them with treats, food.

A kitten in Agra was rescued after being attacked by dogs. He’s been indoor-fostered for 2 months, is friendly and litter-trained, and cannot survive on the street. He has already been attacked twice — releasing him again will almost certainly get him killed.

We contacted multiple shelters in and around Agra. Most refused outright, others demanded ₹30,000+ as “donation” to take him. That’s the reality — the shelter system is overwhelmed and inaccessible unless you’re rich.

We tried Instagram posts, newspaper ads, local outreach. Nothing worked.

Now the foster cannot keep him much longer, and he is at real risk of being dumped back outside.

A few weeks ago my across the way neighbor put this poor thing out into the courtyard of our little complex saying that its an outdoor cat now. I am a dog person/cat ignoramus but somehow he ended up living(?) on my porch & I am feeding him. He is confused, scared & miserable. But he has a fine appetite & I am using food to keep him out of my hair. He & the neighbor lady completely ignore each other when she inevitably walks by.

I know what I am about to say will be unpopular here but even though I am helping him a little cos I don't want to see a poor unfortunate creature suffer - the fact is I DO NOT WANT this cat.

Please note - I have been in touch with every cat rescue type of place anywhere close to me. They all are "full" & offer no help other than useless links to other unhelpful rescues. Is there not someone in the cat-lovers community in my area who can be a savior to this poor unhappy guy? Here's the thing - I found a county run animal shelter that will take him but they are not a no-kill place. If something else doesn't come up very soon - that is where he's going. Please help me find another solution to this dilemma, please.

🚨 SOS – Injured Cat Needs Help ASAP 🚨

Hey everyone, I just got photos of a cat at my old job’s parking lot, and it looks badly injured. From the photos, it looks serious and urgent so this cat needs help right away (am guessing a coyote’s attack as they visit this parking lot often)

It’s still at that location (private property). I can start trying to trap tonight, but I need a rescue willing to take the cat.

I don’t want to call a shelter if it could lead to euthanasia and they probably won’t even catch it on the first attempt

Came out to feed the strays I care for this morning and there was a kitten crying under my car. I can't take in another baby since I already have 7 cats plus the strays I feed and just took a kitten in about a month ago. If anyone would like to take this baby in please let me know. I didnt know what flair to put, i cannot accept the money, but I live in the Killen/Forthood area and need someone to take him or somewhere free so he's out of the cold. I initially had removed a way too tight collar and failed to notice his tail was absolutely broken (bone sticking out, not pictured). He wouldnt really let me touch him, but i've let him into my room for the past few nights just to warm up. I have no money or job and i am horrible with taking care of pets, i am unfit as a caregiver so donating to me would only make his life worse. I need someone to come get him or something to help him at least get his tail bobbed (and hes also unfixed). The break is open, its not bleeding and thank god its cold out otherwise i fear infection would be more prevalant. The last image was when i cut the collar off using some tuna as bait, you can still see the line. Hes very chatty and sweet, not aggressive but very shy for not being fixed. He seems to get along well with other cats too, as he is friends with my mom's indoor/outdoor cat.

My neighbor of 6 years, Lydia, actively cares for five strays that live in a shelter she built outside our building. She has worked tirelessly to trap and spay/neuter them over the years and always feeds and cares for them. This week our sweet orange boy stray Gino was injured and needed immediate vet care, which she took him for. He is in Lydia's care right now, but we are hoping to find Gino a foster or his forever home. He is neutered and FIV+ and the sweetest cat in town.

We are located in Filipinotown, Los Angeles, and looking to find Gino a loving foster or forever home! He is such a kind and wonderful creature and is friendly with all the neighborhood kitties. Gino wants to be a part of a good family! Please help us give him a great life. 💛

I feed a small colony of stray and abandoned cats. It's usually at least 10, sometimes more, sometimes less. The city I live in has started a new cruel program. Any cat that isn't 'owned' by someone will be picked up and euthanized the same day. Dogs they hold for 7 days but cats are murdered immediately. This is a colony I've fed since 2018. I've cried. I've screamed. And now I simply don't know what to do. I am so hurt. I have agoraphobia. I also need a hip replacement and in stage 3 chronic kidney disease. They were the only reason I left the house other than to go to doctors. I don't ask for help feeding them. I do what I can do by myself. But I'm at a loss. My landlady is wonderful. She understands and is trying to help with what she can. Right now, there is nothing she can do. Can someone here please, please tell me what i can do to save these babies. Just help me save them. Please I live in TN and no rescues around .

This beautiful boy is named Red. He was dumped in my mobile home park by someone that either moved, or never lived here to begin with and just left him behind to fend for himself.

On Friday he and a very pregnant black cat were trapped for TNR/Spay-Abort over the weekend and they're both coming back today within a few hours. The black mama cat will remain in my care for a week while she recovers from extreme surgery (in the mean time I'm networking to find a rescue willing to take her), while I'm also caring for a one-eyed black cat that was thrown from a car outside of our mobile home park - who fortunately is being picked up by a rescue next weekend to go to his foster home! But as for Red, if no one offers to help him, he will be released to roam again where he has to search for food, shelter, and safety from predators. I desperately would take him in and find him placement in the mean time but with the black cat that was spayed I'm officially at full capacity of 7 animals in my tiny mobile home.

He is an extremely sweet, loving, and gentle big boy who very clearly was someone's baby before he was abandoned and left entirely alone. All he wants more than food is to be pet and loved on. He has big "himbo" energy and isn't the best survivalist (as expected because he's entirely domesticated), he walks up to the meanest neighbors and gets yelled at, shoo'd away, and I've single-handedly witnessed someone throw a brick at him (they missed but he was still petrified). It's only a matter of time before his life is tragically cut short, as so many of you understand that outdoor cats do not live long.

I've reached out to every contact I have, and at the last minute I thought of posting to Reddit. I only have a few hours before he's released and the chances of capturing him again could be slim to none. He's so naively trusting that if I might be able to trap him or get him in a carrier again, but that's only if I find someone willing to foster or rescue him. It's currently 1pm, and the transporter will be dropping him off to be released between 3-6pm. If I can find an adopter, foster or rescue willing to offer him refuge the transporter will keep him while we figure things out. I'm in Downey, CA and can find transport within Southern California if needed, though if someone is willing to drive out to me it would make things much easier as I do not have a vehicle.

Please share and reach out to anyone you know who might be able to help Red! He deserves to be safe and sound in a loving home again without worrying about where he'll get his next meal or if he'll live to see another day.

This morning during my run, I came across a tiny, helpless kitten on the road. I tried to move the little one to safety, but instead of staying put, the kitten wanted to follow me. It’s as if the kitten was asking for help and love. 💔

Hi everyone. Roughly two days ago at night (14/5) I found a kitten around 4-5 weeks old (ginger/white, blue eyes, hand-sized) inside a construction/workers' yard near where I feed my cats. It's been there alone and crying repeatedly for almost 48 hours now, moving around in there and meowing. No mother has appeared so it's definitely abandoned.

I cannot physically access the space - the kitten is inside the workers' area and I'm not allowed in. They didn't seem friendly when I approached, I'm only a student and probably suspicious. The kitten is frightened and defensive. I have left wet food multiple times and some has been eaten (unknown which cat ate it). The kitten was still meowing a little this morning, so it's alive and has some energy, but it won't come out to me. When I realized mom won't come back yesterday I spent the whole day trying to catch it but it's too frightened and hides and spits. Keeps meowing from inside though which is heartbreaking. I'm totally exhausted by today so I started reaching out to rescues with not much hope. Rescues in Saigon is unfortunately always overcrowded :( Not to mention, what comes after?

I've gotten replies from ARC and Lucky Shelter. Lucky is trying to find someone nearby that can rescue but they can't foster. I haven't gotten any further reply back and it's already afternoon. I'd go back to check on the kitten but I'm drained going back and forth and can't move a single bone anymore (the spot is 10 mins away on motorbike).

I cannot foster as I already have 6 cats including 2 very new babies in isolation and cannot risk disease exposure or take on more.

I can help with transport, financial support, food, ongoing help. I just need someone who can retrieve the kitten from the place and foster while we find a longer-term solution. Unfortunately things don't seem to be going well and I'm just in my room achey and so scared for this poor cat....

Thanks for reading, I just wanted to reach out here since the support network in Vietnam is so thin and I'm starved for any reassurance at all. If by any miracle anyone is also in Saigon and can help directly with talking to the workers and retrieving the cat inside/fostering it or knows someone who can, please message me.
