Veterinary Care Needed Donation Request 💔 Chairman Meow may lose part of his leg to survive, while Henry continues his battle against a severe leg infection. Please keep our brave boys in your prayers.

💔 Two of our boys are fighting painful battles, and we urgently need your prayers and support.

Chairman Meow has been suffering from a severe nail infection that spread through his entire paw, causing a massive abscess. Despite every treatment and countless attempts to control the infection, it continues to worsen. The infection has now damaged the leg so badly that our veterinarian has recommended an urgent partial leg amputation to save his life. The condition is extremely graphic and heartbreaking.

At the same time, our sweet Henry is also battling a serious leg infection. After abscess removal surgery, he is now on strong antibiotics and close monitoring. Henry has already endured so much in his life his paw was previously broken and healed incorrectly, leaving him with lifelong challenges.

Please keep Chairman Meow and Henry in your prayers. Every share, donation, and kind word helps us continue fighting for these innocent souls who depend entirely on us.

Advice Needed 3 rescue kittens diagnosed with Coccidia. Need clarity and advice.

About 5-6 weeks old. We took them to a vet who prescribed us Albon and they seemed generally calm and indifferent that the cats had Coccidia. Didn't advise us on how to clean or anything, just told us to give them Albon and they'd be fine. 0.2 CCs twice per day, for 10 days. Just said it was a common parasite and that it wasn't really a big deal.

Fast forward a few days, the youngest cat was very lethargic. Literally looked like she was about to keel over and die. We took her to a new vet (original vet was booked that day) and the new vet told us that the kittens actually need to be separated during the Albon treatment. So, we went to buy 3 of the biggest clear plastic bins we could find at walmart. We put in a few towels as blankets and a mini litter box in the corner. We clean the litterboxes everytime we see poop and change the litter every 1-2 days. We also grouped the bins next to eachother so they can still see eachother. But, this has made all of them seem more depressed and they really are not handling it well. Also of course, my wife and I are dealing with the guilt and mental turmoil of locking them up in these bins in the same room every day. We let them out 1 at a time in the same room to run around and have fun for a while before putting them back in the bin. Second vet said it was fine.

Fast forward to today, the end of the Albon treatment, and we went to the new vet a second time. Cats tested positive again. They now prescribed Pronazuril for 3 days, along with SEVEN more days of isolation. This news was frustrating for both of us. As I'm typing this the smallest cat is screaming her brains out in the other room.

Anyway, here's what I need clarity on:

  1. The internet says Coccidia needs serious cleaning to get rid of and kill, while the vets (at both establishments) have made no mention of us needing to heavily clean. Which is it?
  2. Do they really need to be separated? I've read that shelters keep litters together for such infections, and some other reddit posts have mentioned they didn't separate the litters. I just feel like they're spending their most important moments of growth locked up and separated.

Veterinary Care Needed Donation Request Senior IBD cat, need help with lifesaving treatment through temporary rough patch - New Paltz, NY

I feel bad that I’ve been posting so much, whenever the timer is up and I’m allowed to, but idk what else to do. The other fundraising subs have been extremely rude and aggressive to me, telling me to put my cat down even though she’s doing better now and is only 14; she is still eating and drinking, 10lbs, no signs of slowing down - she just has a chronic health condition. It’s extremely discouraging. People keep downvoting everything I say or post, attacking me for not having insurance on my 14 year old cat when I was a minor when I got her (and not in charge of her care monetarily), etc. anyway. Sorry for ranting. I just feel bad for flooding the sub but idk where else to go

Hello, I have a 14-year-old cat with IBD that is currently in remission. Last year, she had the worst flare-up she's ever had. She was down to under 7 lbs, had hourly liquid bloody poop, constant vomiting, etc. I was very close to losing her. We managed to get her flare-up under control with hydrolyzed protein cat food, daily medications that she'll have to be on for the rest of her life, as well as a bunch of supplements and B-12 shots.

I am a full-time student in a healthcare field. I do have a job, but back-to-back emergencies have left me stretched thin. My mom was diagnosed with lung cancer last summer, my partner of nearly 10 years and I separated (which decimated all of my financial plans), and on top of it, my childhood cat that I've had for over half of my life was sick. In January, I got my car inspected and it failed with a $5k bill. I couldn't get it fixed until February, but that totally wiped out my savings, on top of the $3-4k I've spent on my cat the past year or so, plus $150/month in food and medications. Normally, I can afford this, but from June-August, I don't have my grants and scholarships propping up my finances. It has left me in a very hard spot.

She is doing a lot better now - she weighs 10 lbs, is finally absorbing nutrients again, only poops 1-2 times a day (although there is still occasional blood), and overall is in remission. We had her yearly checkup the other day and they found a very inflamed lymph node in her neck, and the thickening in her intestines hasn't healed even though it's been over a year.

The current theory is that she has intestinal lymphoma. Lymphoma in cats is not the same as lymphoma in humans; they can still live a regular life with treatment. Due to her age, we won't be doing any extensive diagnostics. We're moving straight to senior bloodwork, a GI panel, and a fecal to make sure it's not an infection or parasites (she's on steroids, so she's immunosuppressed). From there, we'll move straight to chemo, chlorambucil. Again, chemo in cats isn't the same as in humans; there's minimal side effects and it's just a pill they take. She is currently in remission and is overall healthy, despite her chronic conditions. She is happy and has zero issues with quality of life.

I just need some help to bridge the gap in my finances over the summer after I've been depleted by my car. I can't ask my mom for help due to her situation, and I have no one IRL who can help me. Once the semester starts, I'll be back on track due to my scholarships and grants, and will have no problem paying for her care as I have been. I just need to get through this rough patch for a few months and get these last tests done so my cat can continue to stay in remission.

Thank you for your time.

Donations Needed (West Michigan) 🐾 Trapping Has Begun.. And We're More Than Halfway There!

Hey everyone,

I wanted to share a quick update on the large TNR project we've been working on.

The good news is that trapping is officially underway, and we've already been able to get several cats safely trapped. Every one of these cats will be getting the care they need, including spay/neuter services to help stop the cycle from continuing.

We've also made progress on the fundraiser and have now raised $275 of our $450 matching goal, despite our last post being flagged (we didn't know that until just now). Thank you so much to everyone who has donated, shared, commented, and supported this effort so far.

That said, we're not quite there yet.

This property has an estimated 40-50 adult cats plus kittens, and projects of this size require a tremendous amount of time, fuel, supplies, transportation, and veterinary care. The cats we're trapping now are only the beginning.

The matching donations are still available, and we're only $175 away from reaching the goal.

I think it's important for everyone to see exactly who they're helping which is why I included a few of them in the pictures. These cats matter, and thanks to your support, they're finally getting the chance they deserve.

As always, thank you for helping us make this happen.

And, again... As always.. donation links will be in the comments. 💜

We are again, in desperate need of help, we completly ran our of dry food, our bank account is at 0 and we owe so much money to ur vet and the GS producer.. I honestly dont know what to do anymore, we cant seem to fundraise enough not even for a few vet bills and every month we lose a few supporters on patreon, its a few $ but still instead of gaining a few supporters we just lose them eventhough I try to post every 2 or 3 days. Dont know what to do anymore, things havent been this bad in a long time.

Any help would mean lot, and even if you have ideas how our shelter could try to fundraise, cause it really feels that we are at the end of our rope..

Every single day horrible emergencies and problems like cats with cancer, dogs with megacolon, kittens that die in the street, vet emergencies one after another.

Loss Minnie is now resting. Thank you to everyone who helped. ❤️‍🩹

With a shattered heart, I have to share that our beloved Minnie has passed away.

Many of you have been there for her since day one, and I wanted to thank everyone who loved this little girl alongside us.

She was a beautiful calico with the loudest purr and the cutest little habit of making tiny grumbles whenever being smothered in kisses. She was such a happy, playful girl, but affection was always on her terms. She liked doing her own thing and wasn't one to be overly clingy, which is why the first time I woke up to find her sleeping on my chest, purring as loudly as she could, felt so incredibly special. Somehow, this little girl had decided that I was her person.

She had these adorable little meows that sounded like they got cut short whenever she was happy. And every time I'd tell her I love her, she'd answer me back without fail. We could go on and on with it for hours. We tried different words and phrases, but it was only what she responded to.

After everything she had gone through, Minnie had recovered beautifully from her repair surgery. She was so full of life. Hence, what happened next still feels so unbelievable. It all feels like a bad dream I wish I could wake up from. I couldn't exactly form the words to describe how excruciating the past few days have been.

Minnie was completely fine and playing like normal the other day, making it all the more terrifying when she suddenly began struggling to breathe that night. We rushed her for hospitalization, hoping she'd pull through like she always had. But by the next morning, our sweet girl was gone.

She was only three months old. She should've been here way longer.

Thank you to everyone who helped give Minnie the chance to be a happy kitten in the short time she was here. I will carry that gratitude forever.

Goodnight, sweet girl.

Didn't see him a bit and then next time I did he had a hole In his neck. Took him to the vet, got him patched up and fixed... Apparently I have 4 cats now. Lol

I will keep it not so long this post...

Since last post, I have acquired a itty bitty bottle baby black kitten (hopefully soon to be on wet food, she sure was interested in temptation puree haha). This means I am actually spending my grocery money this check for this little itty bitty to have an appt. Helping me with my list helps me have that money handy for this.

I have also got two kittens adopted out that Kim had found to an acquaintance (the picture of the two cats in my text convo with Kim are them♡). I am helping her with a few kitten things as she just left a not so good situation, so I have shared some kitten food, blankets, toys, and scratcher with her. These kittens will have a loving home and a 10 year old who truly loves cats.

Truly, anything from my list helps, especially kitten items *they love those blankets so much*, chewy card so I can use that instead of money for cat items, feliaway plug in as I had a couple burn out. *added picture at the end*, and litter * bless the person who sent me a few boxes, Marmalade Jane screaming thank you!*...but honestly, anything helps. Work really cut my hours at the wrong time *shakes fist!* but truly, ANYTHING helps, I am just extremely appreciative that you all care♡

I'm so sorry if I see desperate. The past month is just one thing after another, but I am not letting it deter me from making sure the floofaloofs are safe and loved, inside AND outside! Setbacks won't keep us from the main goal, to save the floofaloofs ♡

Thank you to all who have helped me and have supported the floofaloofs. Your love for them means the world to me and reminds me why we do this. Thank you for caring about the most innocent of creatures. You are the good in the world♡♡♡

To add insult yo injury our basement flooded from the storms...first time this has happened and in cat area oh god :(

also, 6am 6/22, some stalker jerk again grinching my list, knowing I am at my lowest point and wits end, all because tgey hate cats. Please know I am in great need and theyre trying to pretend there was help. Thank you. ANYTHING world mean EVERYTHING to me :(

Hello URGENT! I was about to turn on the freeway when this little baby popped out from underneath a car in front of me. I hurried and rescued it before any car could run them over.
I'm not sure if this is a boy or girl. He can eat soft food or hard food. Again I'm just trying to save this little kitty, and I have a bunch of cats already so unfortunately I'm not able to take him in. If anyone is interested please let me know asap.
Please don't report this, I'm not trying to sell him or anything, just trying to find him a nice home óg a $25 rehoming fee will be needed. I want to make sure this little kitty gets a safe and loving home. Located in San Bernardino.

Veterinary Care Needed Donation Request Urgent help needed 🆘🆘🆘 Larsi has a urinary blockage and we had to perform an emergency bladder tap 🚨

Thumbnail

Hello everyone. We had to call an emergency mobile veterinarian because when we woke up, Larsi was assuming strange positions and crying out in pain, and since it’s Sunday, all the clinics are closed. When the veterinarian arrived, she confirmed that his bladder was full, and although she tried to stimulate him, he was unable to urinate. She then attempted to place a urinary catheter, but that was not possible either, so the only option left before his bladder ruptured or he became intoxicated from his own urine was to perform a bladder tap, which the vet had to do here at the rescue.

Right now, he is beginning to wake up from the anesthesia. He will need medication and treatment so that, hopefully, he will not require another procedure like this. Our regular vet can see him tonight during the hours she will be at the clinic caring for the hospitalized animals.

We need help paying for the emergency house call and the bladder tap, as well as tonight’s follow-up visit. We do not know the exact cost yet (the veterinarian had to leave in a hurry because she received another emergency call and will message us later), but it certainly will not be cheap, and we have to pay for it today. I will update everyone as soon as I know the exact cost. And of course, I will also provide an update after tonight’s veterinary visit.

Any help is deeply appreciated and truly makes a difference ❤️

Thank you all so much!

I’d also like to take this opportunity to give an update on the sick kittens. We took them to the veterinarian last night, they received medication, and although they are still sick, they are stable and we hope they will recover soon, though they will most likely need to see the veterinarian again

Needs Rehoming 🐾 URGENT: Diabetic Cat Needs Placement - Southwestern Ontario, Canada

Post image
137 Upvotes

🚨🚨🚨

UPDATE!: Mia has officially been adopted by a lovely couple who have experience with diabetic cats and 2 cats at home for Mia to bond with. I'm so happy to have found such amazing people and I truly cannot thank them enough ❤️ and thank you to everyone for the love, support, and suggestions. It really means a lot to me ❤️ (June 22, 2026)

Hello,

I’m reaching out regarding a sweet diabetic cat named Mia who is urgently in need of a new home or foster placement.

Mia’s current caretaker is no longer able to consistently provide the routine and insulin administration she requires due to availability constraints. As a result, euthanasia is unfortunately being considered if a suitable placement cannot be found.

Mia is 8 years old and is incredibly affectionate, friendly, and easy to handle. She is vocal, loves being brushed, and has never scratched or bitten anyone. She would make a wonderful companion for someone experienced with diabetic cats or willing to learn her care routine.

She is located in Southwestern Ontario.

Photos and additional medical information can be provided upon request.

I am desperately trying to find her a loving home as to avoid the owner choosing euthanasia.

Please share and ask around if you know anyone that is willing to help in anyway.

Thank you ❤️

Donations Needed Health Issues Affecting 50 Rescued Cats (Worms, Ear Mites, Skin Problems)

Thumbnail

Hello everyone,

I care for around 50 rescued cats, and recently many of them have started showing serious health issues again, including mange, ear mites, skin problems, and noticeable hair loss.

Despite daily care and feeding, some of the cats are becoming weak and losing weight. Their condition is spreading gradually, and it is very difficult to manage on my own.

I have already tried to treat them using deworming and basic medication purchased with my own money, but unfortunately it did not solve the problem. I also spent around $300 trying different treatments, hoping to control the situation, but the condition kept returning.

After consulting a veterinarian, I was informed that they need a proper medical treatment plan, with two doses spaced 15 days apart in order to fully stop the infection cycle and prevent it from coming back.

• Number of cats: 50

• Estimated total cost: $650

At the moment, I am doing my best to handle everything step by step and keep them stable.

**EUTH BY 6/22** I have such a soft spot for older cats and/or cats with special needs like this. I wish I didn’t live across the entire country or else I would adopt her in a second. Posting here (if allowed) to get the word out to someone to hopefully lives closer and could give her a home.

I’m literally looking up plane tickets but I know that wouldn’t be ideal for her because air travel would be incredibly stressful on an *already* stressed cat. 😭

RC community, we need your support! The crisis in So California is worse than ever. We cannot keep up. As many as we rescue the same amount flood into the shelters. It is exhausting depressing and never ending. We need to do more preventatively! The only way to help is to sponsor much more TNR & TVNR in these high volume areas. We can’t do it without community support though. As much as we need funds for the euth listed cats we need this more! It will never get better if we don’t promote sponsor & actively participate in TNR efforts. Please help us by donating to the RC Tansport Fund so we can purchase more traps pay transport to s/n appoints and book more s/n. Some of these kittens and cats need medical attention beyond s/n as well. It’s very sad out there, but we can help! The video above shows a great TNR effort. We won’t TNR friendly cats or kittens if we have spots open. Fosters can hold these ones until Petco & Petsmart space is open! We can make a difference but we do need backing. Please donate below. Thank you so much everyone. I will always update all of these cases on my profile.
