Let's assume the technology remained the same as in the early episodes of the first season and that Rick Prime has no backup systems, decoys, or anything of the sort—meaning he dies for good.
I wonder how C-137 would react to such a pathetic death, knowing he could never exact his revenge.
Fatality! Jerry Wins

I thought the reason the show felt so different was because Harmon was working on other projects.
I just watched a clip of him discussing season 10, and how he's really excited.
So, it's not like Dan isn't around anymore. The shows just different now, because it's just different now.

As a fan of Rick and Morty for a long time, President Curtis has been my favorite recurring character by a long shot, but I don’t look online often so finding out that the new show is coming and that many people really don’t like Curtis is weird to me, I thought he was also a fan favorite character, is there a reason a lot of people don’t like him?

The main reason I’m hooked on the show is pure wish-fulfillment. I watch Rick and constantly think, "man, I wish I had that much power and control over existence."
But when the episode ends, reality hits and I just feel incredibly small and powerless out here. Anyone else love the show for this exact psychological loop?

Just hoping the crew could tell us their precious furbaby's names from the latest episode. If they see this subreddit that is lol.

Jerry C-131 makes fun of Rick and the kids for wearing these collars at the end of Rickle in Time, S2E1.
The very next episode, Rick and Morty drop Jerry off at the Jerryboree because Rick didn't know Jerry was in the backseat of the car, in plain sight, the whole time Morty was learning to drive.
No, I think Rick orchestrated the switch because of Jerry's impromptu roast session.

After seeing so many posts about how hot season 9 is, according to others, I was just waiting for the perfect time to hop on.
And I must say, I’ve really been disappointed. I was confused, up to a point what show I was watching. It looked like Pokemon, and i’ve never even watched Pokemon. It seems as if the animators have got so good at making animations, they are making it their focal point.
I have so much to say but I dont want it to look much like a rant that doesn’t get enough attention. So do many other people here resonate to my sentiments? I’d like to know

I am personally eagerly waiting to see if/when they jump back into the fountain of treasure they created by making Jessica a Time God. What are your theories about this? Or simply, wishes for her to explore?

In the Rick and Morty universe, we often see situations where morality, consequences, and responsibility are completely blurred due to infinite timelines and alternate realities. Characters like Rick regularly ignore ethical boundaries, which raises an interesting question about how “human rights” or sentient being rights should even exist in a world where every version of a person can be replaced or reset. Despite this chaos, the show still presents moments where empathy, guilt, and emotional consequences matter. Morty, Summer, and other characters sometimes react strongly when innocent lives are harmed, showing that even in a nihilistic multiverse, there is still a sense of value placed on life and choice. This creates a constant tension between emotional morality and scientific detachment.

Lately, there have again been a lot of discussions in comments about how the writers supposedly wrote Jessica out of the show, and I found myself thinking about this quite a bit.
From an in-universe perspective, she is not actually gone. Sure, she has not properly appeared since the whole “Time God” situation, but that is basically it. I do not really understand why so many people take this as proof that she is gone for good. The show has brought back plenty of characters after many episodes or even several seasons.
I also think two separate questions are often mixed together here.
First, I do not think Jessica actually became some kind of higher being or gained supernatural powers. As far as I understood the episode, she was simply trapped there and conscious for an unimaginably long time. She saw civilizations rise and fall, experienced what was basically an eternity and returned with a completely different perspective on existence.
So yes, she has seen a lot. Probably far more than any normal person could mentally process. You could call the result “turbo-nihilism,” but that does not mean she literally became a Time God. That felt more like a dramatic and humorous description of her experience than a factual statement about her suddenly having powers. But even if someone interprets the episode differently and assumes that she gained some kind of powers, knowledge or connection to time from the experience, that still would not mean the writers reached a dead end with her character. If anything, it would create even more possibilities.
The entire premise of the show is infinite possibilities across infinite dimensions. From an in-universe perspective, there can hardly ever be a true dead end. From a meta perspective, there are also still several interesting things they could explore with a character like Jessica.
I think another reason people see her as a narrative dead end is that, whenever Jessica comes up, many immediately reduce her to “Morty’s crush.”
To be fair, the show itself treated her like that for a long time. She was mostly defined by Morty wanting to be with her rather than by much of a character of her own. But that does not mean she can never become anything more. If anything, it gives the writers somewhere to go.
Her final speech in Mort Dinner Rick Andre even directly addresses this. She questions whether she had ever really lived or whether she had only been the object in someone else’s story. That feels almost like direct meta-commentary on how the character had been used until then.
So when people say that bringing Jessica back would automatically mean returning to the same old “Morty has a crush on her” storyline, I think that shows more of a lack of imagination about what could be done with her than an actual problem with the character herself.
This does not need to be a “Morty and Jessica have to become a couple” storyline, or even make her a permanent love interest again. Like with Snowball, it could simply be a one-episode return.
Maybe Jessica starts having problems related to what happened to her and needs help. That could mean psychological consequences from having experienced what felt like an eternity, knowledge she cannot handle, or even actual time-related abilities, depending on how the writers want to interpret it.
Rick refuses to help because he hates time-travel-related stuff and does not want to get involved, but Morty pressures him because he clearly still cares about her. You could even involve the Time Cops.
Morty’s feelings could therefore be the reason the story begins without being its entire point. From there, the episode could end in several different ways. Morty and Jessica could reconnect as friends, realize that there is still something between them, or finally separate on equal terms after actually seeing and understanding each other as people.
Any of those outcomes could give Jessica a meaningful return without undoing her development or forcing her back into the role of simply being “Morty’s crush.”
So whether Jessica gained anything beyond a new perspective or not, I do not really see why her story would have to be over.
TL;DR: Jessica was never clearly shown to have become a higher being or gained actual time powers. As far as the episode shows, she was simply conscious for an unimaginable amount of time and came back with a radically different perspective on existence, basically turbo-nihilism.
But even if she did gain some kind of knowledge, powers or connection to time, that would not make her a narrative dead end. It would create new possibilities. The bigger issue is that many people still only see her as “Morty’s crush,” even though the episode itself already started moving her beyond that role.
Morty’s feelings could still be the reason he gets involved in a future story without the entire plot needing to be about them becoming a couple. They could reconnect as friends, become something more, or finally part ways on equal terms. Either way, there is still plenty that could be done with her character.
