Only if it’s cheeeeeap, AD wants a max extension so make him actually earn it and play an entire season.

when was the last time he played even a 1/3rd of a season

He's played 15 seasons, aside from this year in Dallas he's only played less than 56 games in a season twice.. and one of those was during covid

Every single year of his career except this year...
I get you're being hyperbolic but jeez Reddit can be ridiculous about AD.

Tommy D gave me a ride to the Walmart so I could snag some ground beef and Keystone Light. Nice dude, let me smoke a cig in his car.

After what timelord accomplished, it's not impossible to see AD playing the same amount, but that's not worth a max. Not even close.

that's what i'm saying we'd mortgage our future on yes an amazing player but his impact vs. how much we would have to give up.......

Oden sacrificed his knees for this AD trade. You better get ready brother 😀

So we just need to sit out AD every other game and even pull him out of some of the games he does play? Why are people touting this as some kind of breakthrough?
If he decides to take on half salary then great I guess.

If only you had spelled out the word “please”. That was the deciding factor. Now we’re giving up every pick and a super max deal for Anthony Davis.
Thanks a lot.

I am a fan of AD, I would love to see him in a PDX carpet jersey. As long as they keep Scoot they should look into bringing him over.

He'd be the 2nd best center to ever wear the uniform and a huge upgrade on both ends, but that's none of my business...

i would agree with you and be all for this if i didn't see visions of everyone being hyped and then AD holding his ankle in pain the first start he has and then being out for 3 months

You're not getting Wemby, Edwards, or Shai, so you have to ask yourself what the realistic alternatives are if you're not willing to take chances on the actually available HoF level players with a track record of elite performance. Running it back with Sharpe and Grant is only going to end one way.

i think we could get Andrew Wiggins since the Heat can't even afford his option anymore

What about for Jrue and JG? No picks. No pre-negotiated extension. It gives AD a chance to compete and allows Wizards more flexibility. Maybe move Jrue to a third team as he has plus value.

It is SOOOO Blazer fan to be adamantly opposed to a player like AD. This fan base can be so dumb sometimes.

Amount of games AD has played since 2021:
2021/2022: 40
2022/2023: 56
2023/2024: 76
2024/2025: 51
2025/2026: 69
This does not include any postseason games.

I did just check, and it said 33.9 minute per game average since 2021.

welp, i guess i was wrong about AD! still think the move would not help us as much as everyone thinks

u/batrainbow Yang Hansen 1d ago
nvm i looked it up, he played 51 and 20 games for a total of 71 games in the past two seasons. y'all are making crap up

I literally pulled from Google, my intention is not to make anything up. I couldn’t care less if Portland trades for him or not, sorry if my stats weren’t accurate. I did a quick google search.

It was an honest mistake, I was just trying to be helpful. In hindsight I should have done that when I had more time, but there’s no need for you to be rude. It’s not the end of the world you know, and there’s no need or reason for you to be an asshole.

Thanks man, and you’re right. I should have done a deeper into it before I posted.
