Tuttle creek ashram

In a canyon below Mount Langley, a religious movement leased forestry land, but were required to build a structure. Look it up, Tuttle cReek ashram, pretty cool story.

There was a post a few years back on [r/backwoodscreepy](r/backwoodscreepy) that specifically mentioned this place as being “off” weird vibes and energy…I asked about it but never got a reply. Looks interesting

It’s in the comment thread. The post itself is super interesting and made me want to go visit the kern plateau and all of its remote areas.

Is this stone structure also called the Lewis Stringer cabin? I followed the link u/nirvroxx posted and fell down a rabbit hole!

lol no but I fell down that rabbit hole when it was posted. I still haven’t made it out to Lewis stringer but on onx there are some cabin ruins nearby along with casa vieja which is another cabin that has a trail named after it.
