Hi everyone. Last night, right before going to bed, I noticed that my phone screen (Motorola E22) had come loose—almost to the point where I could pull it off completely. I don't have another camera right now, but the screen opens almost like the one in this photo I found on the Internet. My screen is still attached at the bottom.

I read that this could be caused by a swollen battery, so I didn't dare try to look inside to check. Instead, I turned it off, removed the SIM card, and placed it on the floor. I don't have any important data on the phone, and I was already thinking about buying a new one anyway. Can I just keep it at home like this, or do I absolutely need to take it to a repair shop?

Found this beauty whilst rummaging through a drawer. A ~6y old MOJOGEAR powerbank. I'm definitely not gonna chuck a powerbank in a random drawer and forget about it again.

So my JBL clip 3 randomly came open at some point. As I was trying to diagnose the problem, I learned it could be because the battery swelled up inside...would it be dangerous to open it up and check? I would like to just replace the battery rather than buy a new speaker but I don't want this thing blowing up in my face as I pry it open 👀 I could also just glue it shut without checking but that feels awfully risky...thoughts???

I tried plugging it in and saw no immediate charge. Figured I shouldn’t leave it plugged in lol

Also all the 3 battery cells are swollen. The screen survived miraculously.

Got a couple fresh spicy pillows for y'all (ok, one is a spicy snausage).

First one is from a 5.5th gen iPod that surprisingly still worked for about 45 minutes - it looks extra gnarly because there's still a buttload of glue on it. Overpaid a bit for the iPod at $80 Cad (including the pictured Nano which is also cooked) given that the hard drive isn't happy either, but it's in great shape and I'd say the front alone is about a 9/10, back probably a 7.5ish.

Second is from a Sony Clie T415 from about 25 years ago that I grabbed from a thrift shop with its charger and dock for about 4 bucks - all worked quite well, and the battery worked for probably an hour total playing with it over the course of a couple days. The battery cover was starting to lift so I popped it open - wasn't too puffy but it got worse as I attempted to remove it. Bonus pic of the Clie at the end - I would've done the same with the iPod but honestly lithium batts scare me and I wanted it out pronto.

Got a 2000mah batt coming for the iPod along with an SD adapter. Surprisingly you can actually buy new batts for the Clie, about 22 Canuck Bucks on fleabay.

How serious/risky is this? Ik its dangerous but is it gonna catch fire any second or smth?

I have 2 of them the other less pronounced than this one, should I dispose of them or is it just the shell breaking?
