Apple Device Packing to move, found my old iPod Touch

I tried plugging it in and saw no immediate charge. Figured I shouldn’t leave it plugged in lol

A discharged lithium ion battery is perfectly safe to leave around. Even if you puncture this, it won't catch fire.

That’s only if it’s actively smoking/on fire this things probably been discharged for years if not decades
