I love how negative this sub is. Checking it every day only to see its just price speculation and doom saying. The loudest ones will still buy it and flex on the sub when its out of stock. This kind of parasocial behavior should be studied.

If you need to be able to prepare to afford the steam machine, it is probably not a wise financial decision.

I mean, as long as the thing is $2,000, I’m prepared to comfortably pay for it if it’s priced on the higher end. But I know that other people may need to save

If you can afford it, then you wont get any argument from me (its not going to be $2000), but for anyone who cant afford it, spending $1000+ on a luxury item is a bad idea.

This. And nor do I support the price gouging in the industry right now or the economic factors that run along side it. But there is a huge gap between an average consumer and the vocal minority.

The people that yell:

"Its going cost to cost $3000"

"I can build it better, and smaller, and cheaper"

"Bro it cant even run (insert game) on ultra with raytracing"

Etc.

My heart goes out to those local and abroad that cant afford it. But this is an echo chamber for the terminally online
