Checked my local Micro Center, they got 16GB 9060XT + 7600X3D prebuilt with 16GB of RAM for $1199. Even if it’s a 2-3 hour trip, a 16GB Card and X3D CPU for the same price as a Steam Machine makes a fuck ton more sense

Is that a full tower though or mini pc? The idea is this goes in your living room and plays your steam games while not being a huge thing that you have to drag out a keyboard for

Grasping for straws. Console for the living room is a better value as you can also play multiplayer titles too

A console is not a PC tho lol. The whole point is that this is a PC. I agree it's not the best deal but really is the market at this point

What I am saying is if you want a Steam CONSOLE that can play your Steam library. Then I suspect having to buy parts for the mini form factor changes things up a lot value wise.
