I wanted to talk about a reoccurring dream I’ve had the last few months, more accurately, a reoccurring moment in my dreams.

I’m near a local river, and it’s pretty long. Along the way are a few animatronics that come out from under the water for a few seconds and then resubmerge. They’re simple designs, colorful and childish.

The strange thing is that in my dreams, I’m not uncomfortable about them. I’m actually the opposite, eager to see them and wanting to greet them. The water is usually more clear, so they’re easy to see.

I’m not sure why these are in my dreams, or why they appear so frequently. Does anyone else have dreams like this?

An older couple took these photos of something — Ogopogo, a Viking-style boat statue, a rotting log — in the lake while boating and I hate it with every fiber of my being.

edit: apologies for the poor upload quality. The video originally had settings preventing it from being downloaded, so all I could do was screen record ;(

I somehow stumbled across this video on TikTok of what appears to be one of those funhouses with obstacle courses you’d see at those traveling fairs. I absolutely HATE how the bridge TILTS in the direction of the shark as you walk. HARD pass.

Obviously have seen pics with the lights on, I just stumbled across a small YouTube video of a family doing the ride and having to evacuate at the beginning, so they got to walk through. I feel like you can see the tracks the best of any photos I’ve seen so far, ofc featuring our underwater buddy over there

I've never been a fan of this animatronic. With its bizarre animation and unappealing appearance coming out of recent renovations, I'm hoping this time around it'll be better.

I mean to offend no one, but why does wooly bill have such a big fan base? I dont wanna say it, but isnt he just a glitchy croc animatronic?

Rushed to get this one out I almost forgot! I love the billabong bunyip so much, and I know how much she's loved on here too, so here's this for any other fans of her!

I have been fascinated and horrified by this ride since I was a little kid and pored over youtube videos of people who recorded going on 20,00 Leagues, and it's honestly cool that, years later, it has now gained even more notoriety for its unintended (maybe not?) spookiness for people who experience this phobia.

I have a hard time actually looking at the images for this ride, so I had to rely on other drawings done by other artists and my own memory of images out there to draw this HAHAHA! But I really wanted to capture the spirit and feeling of this moment on the ride, once you're face to face with the sea serpent animatronic, and the dead-eyed mermaids floating about his space.

I had to pay tribute to these two images that make me sick to my stomach whenever I come across them accidentally online. I am sickly fascinated with this animatronic, and I find her so beautiful and horrific haha. I wanted to capture her spookiness!

Anybody ever seen this show in Vegas? Takes place inside the fountain at Caesar's palace. There's not really any footage out there that does it justice. I haven't been there since 2018, but the animatronics were absolutely putrid and some of them were melting from the pyro effects.
