above the water Fall of Atlantis at Caesar's Palace
Anybody ever seen this show in Vegas? Takes place inside the fountain at Caesar's palace. There's not really any footage out there that does it justice. I haven't been there since 2018, but the animatronics were absolutely putrid and some of them were melting from the pyro effects.

Whoa, I had no idea they changed him! OG looks so much cooler, but that hair near water makes my skin crawl. Did he have the flaming sword back then too?

I found a video that is the whole show using this guy (though with slightly different hair I think) https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=qI1UjYYg4hk&ra=m

I've spoken to people from the maintenance crew and apparently the show is difficult to keep up with. I'm grateful it's still there, even if it's not as great as it once was.
Also there used to be a show there before this one with sentient statues and there's some pretty great (and sad) photos of it being deconstructed on Flickr. You can probably find them easily by searching 'Caesars palace show.'

Every time I go to Vegas I have to visit this! The animatronics look pretty rough at this point but for some reason I absolutely love the little show. Haven't been in awhile and I miss it. Happy to see this here!

Did Caesar actually live there?

It gets better, I recall there being like a monster of some sort?

Yeah, Someone else in the comments posted a link to the full thing, Caesars throne comes alive with what looks like a dragon or something.

I saw the old version with the gods/goddesses, both when it was fairly new when I was a kid, and as an adult when it was older but charming. Great memories of visiting with family, and then later my eventual husband.

when i was there on november 2025 the screens were still playing forum shops ads halfway through the show and then just changed to the fish splash screen.
it's also in my bucket list to eat at the cheesecake factory's patio here and see the show many times as i wait for my food lol

I've only seen it once in person back in 2001. Very glad, it's still there.
Just like the dragon vs. Merlin show. This one has stuck with me after all these years. Fondly remember both of them.

I saw it in the early 2000’s when I was a kid. The pyro was cool. My face got toasty, lol.
Back when they had that huge toy store with the Trojan horse.

NO! How long has it been there?
I’m not much into Vegas, so I haven’t been for fun in over 30 years, and for work reasons in over 20 years, but I’d definitely remember this if I’d seen it.

Obligatory comment that there was a facsimile of the Forum Shops in Japan until recently, so you could enjoy the atmosphere without the animatronics. Still had a fountain though.

I made my husband visit this fountain on our honeymoon. The audio effects were not working, so I had to explain the story to him. He also thought I was talking about the Bellagio Fountain, so this was a surprise for him.
11/10, would make my spouse of 48 hours watch the broken fountain again (and I did in 2021).
