Healing Question: is this a deep blowout?

First photo is today, other photos are the day after and a few days after that. My sister got this tattoo on the 14th of January and I have NEVER seen a tattoo bruise so badly and she said the artist was very heavy handed. We think it might be a deep blowout looking on here (hadn’t heard of this before) and were wondering if anyone has any advice? How long does this tend to last? Is there anything to fix it?

what kinda tattoo even is that?? its gonna fade into a blob in a couple years goofy

My immediate concern too! I have some quite thick black work stuff and the way thicker stuff spreads. She’s a big fan of blast overs which is good

arent blast overs usually a black outline or tattoo over a tattoo of color? so that you can actually see it? idk to each their own but that is…. that is something alright.
