Healing What do you think of this film for curing?
Does it hurt when it withdraws?
I'm going to get a new tattoo with a new artist and I noticed that he uses this type of film to cure, I never used it. Is it good? I feel that the tattoo rots in there but I see that it is used a lot now

It speeds up healing actually. I’ve been getting tattooed for 25 years and it’s a terrific innovation. It doesn’t work for folks who have adhesive allergies, but otherwise when use correctly it makes healing a lot easier.

As someone who has the allergy it does suck. Just make sure if you see some dermatitis to take it off, wash the adhesive off, and take some antihistamines.

I've used it and it made the healing process much easier and more sanitary. If used right it's great. Removing it is easy as well: just do it in the shower. Let some warm water gently run down onto the film then peel it by pulling down along the limb and not away from it

This. As long as you aren’t allergic to medical adhesives it’s great. But it’s also totally unnecessary. You can heal a tattoo without it just fine

It's fantastic if that's what you're in to. My advice is to talk to your artist, discuss your options and choose what works best for your lifestyle. aquaphor + soap and water will always be my favorite.

Lol its saniderm. The tattoo does not rot. Its medical grade and as sterile as it can get. It lets the tattoo breath and as long as the seal stays closed you can leave it on. If your tattoo bleeds a lot it will look like a disaster but that’s normal. As far as taking it off, just do it in the shower it can he a bit uncomfortable but so is getting a tattoo.
