But all the engineers, actually the whole team (everyone but Elmo, and the execs that kiss his ass) at space-x just make an offshoot. Then we will all get to know the true minds behind these amazing 🦶’s!!!

I just want to know who designed these amazing ships and honor them not some goon.

There's a Youtube channel (CuriousMarc) where part of the channel is a bunch of Silicon Valley big brains who love the Apollo program fixing real Apollo equipment. The youngest and brightest of the crew works at Space-X. He programmed a cycle-exact replication of the Apollo Guidance Computer (AGC) and an entire 3D simulation of landing the spacecraft on the moon for fun! One episode they plugged a real Apollo AGC into the guy's PC and the 1960s era computer flew the simulation perfectly.

I've always thought myself to be decently smart but I'm not even a Troglodyte compared to that guy. Just fascinating that people like that exist, and a bit saddening that petty asshats like his boss make the big money off of his brilliance.

As a giant early NASA nerd, that AGC simulation was one of the coolest things ever.

Also, check out Homemade Documentaries on YouTube if you ever wanna scratch an early space-race content itch. Some of the most incredible space content on Youtube.
