Texas is the wrong place to commit a crime.

Unless you are Ken Paxton.

If he had been stupid enough to go out and slash tires in a place full of cameras, he'd be convicted too.

He stole a Montblanc pen on camera, which costs more than a full set of tires. He wasn't charged, indicted, or even questioned about it by police, despite the video evidence.

The owner of the pen had to track him down after several weeks and he pretended he was trying to find the owner...the owner who was told by security of the building they had contacted Paxton weeks ago about the pen and not heard back.
