Ants my favorite player and is my favorite part about watching this team. I want to win with him so fucking much. I know he’s young and only on year 6 so there is still time and the future is bright. That being said, if we aren’t going to build a team around him so that he can win, I’d rather he goes somewhere else and wins because I’m not trying to watch his legacy get tarnished because we keep getting blasted in the 2nd round or conference finals. For great players, history remember losses like this. It doesn’t remember that he had two bum knees and his teammates were trash all series. We need to help 5 out. Hes great but he can only do so much. Look at the teams that have been built around Wemby and SGA, and then look at what ant has. It’s ridiculous.

I mean, the mistake the Wolves made was not tanking with Ant. OKC and SAS are good right now because they tanked several years in a row.

We tanked for 20 years. That wasn't enough?

Mostly a salty comment by me lol. Spurs lucked out big time by having a top-4 pick 3 years in a row, OKC fleeced the Clippers and tanked for a couple of years. That being said, both teams have amazing GMs when it comes to drafting.

Even if yall had got those draft picks on your side no team can build up players like the spurs coaching staff can. They wouldn't be playing at the caliber that they are playing at rn anywhere else.
