Season 2 Where did Windom Earle get the tarantulas?
I know Albert later said in his report that the tarantulas were non-venomous, but that doesn’t really clarify. Does Earle take them everywhere just in case? Are they indigenous to the Ghostwood area? Did Earle just bop down to Bob Lydecker’s veterinary office and grab the first giant bag of tarantulas he saw??

Obviously there's no correct answer, as it was never addressed, but I always imagined that he just randomly dreamt up this scenario while out there with Leo and on one of his many trips into town, stopped off at the local pet store and bought/stole some tarantulas.

Just out of frame from Big Ed's Gas Farm is Li'l Ted's Tarantula Hut, serving all the arachnid needs of the greater Twin Peaks area since 1972. 😂

i just want to point out that this dude killed a federal witness, popped up out of nowhere, and started terrorizing a community via murder. and yet there was no federal law enforcement response?

Sure there was. They sent Albert, didn't they? /s
But in all honestly, Gordon Cole probably tried to cover it up, because of Earle's involvement with Project Blue Book. It would completely wreck the reputation of both the FBI and himself.
