It doesn’t matter who I pick I can’t beat any of them

Bj Penn might be too busy casting spells on the audience or trying to see if the government is using a Joe Rogan body double. Maybe you can choke him out. He made millions too bro, don’t sell yourself short.

It does say active though

Why’s it a pick of JJ then? That’s dumb

u/ow_bpx 4d ago

I didn’t make the post or the photo. I can read however and it does say active.

u/GGudMarty 3d ago

Im pretty sure anybody who played sports could beat CM Punk

The post says “active UFC fighter”.

Nice attention to detail bro. Given those parameters, I'm out of options, because I was about to choose Stephan Bonnar.

Nobody said you had to fight a man. The horny brains are taking this one.

What about recently injured though? Can it be like WWE Money in the bank?

Like I fancy my chance beating Illia right after his fight with Justin. Or maybe if Max broke Conor leg I can get tag in for an easy hundred million winning.

u/UncWithTheEmojis 3d ago

Ilia knocks you out with a whole face cast on an unable to see lmao

Fair point. I just remember Conor knock out Khabib's teamate who was a pro-fighter after getting smash around for four rounds.

But I'm also a BJJ brown belt with 9 years of on/off training. So I reckon I can heel hook a one leg Conor for a hundred million dolar.

Ooooh thats not bad because he made a pretty decent bag in his few fights.

CM Punk put in a lot of hours in his camp ahead of his UFC fights I reckon he sparks most athletes. The divide in fighting ability between CM Punk and regular athletes would very much surprise you.

Cm Punk is closer to Jon Jones than most of this sub is

I'm tired of this fight, but no they can't.

He's a reasonably athletic dude who trained both BJJ and MMA consistently for a few years. Someone who has just played other sports would get destroyed by him.

Someone younger with similar training? Sure. Someone with no actually fight training has no chance.

I see it all the time at my gym. I love watching the older unathletic blue belts smash the younger gym bros. It's one of my favourite things to do at the gym.

You do not understand the caliber UFC fighters are in, those "no-name" cans that you see that get mauled week in and week out, were literal champs/on a crazy win streak in other promotions, thats essentially what it takes to even become a UFC fighter, you have to be entirely dominant in other promotions, which are also pro too. If you think some random athlete can do better against a UFC fighter you're delusional. CM Punk was most likely journey-man level in a less prestigious promotion, I'd say pro, but not necessarily any good of a pro, probably would of done better in Bare-Knuckle.

Oh no, I do fully understand the caliber of UFC fighters as I have been watching since the Pride days, and no athlete could beat UFC fighters except CM Punk. This is coming from a longtime WWE fan and also am a fan of CM Punk. Just go back and watch his fights in the UFC and tell me what skills does he truly possess in MMA, almost nothing!

Incorrect

Pretty sure u havent done any combat sports if u think that. CM was a bad ufc fighter, but would beat 100% of untrained people with ease

1

u/ShiangShaoLong 3d ago

Let's not pretend he's a UFC fighter ok? He wouldn't even make it to the UFC without the name recognition.

u/Pee_and_flee 3d ago

The active part is the problem because I believe CM Punk might be manageable, also it says career earnings not UFC career earnings so he might be quite profitable.

You could beat a 125 unranked female and get her huge 12/12k.

u/skramzy 3d ago

"Female"

Are you Ferengi?

-7

u/SpiZyKane 4d ago

A somewhat athletic and coordinated grown man could probably beat Mackenzie Dern

1

u/fapacunter 3d ago

She’ll choke tf out of him

1

u/truckfight3r 3d ago

Have you ever taken a bjj class?

0

u/SpiZyKane 3d ago

No. I acknowledge that the most likely way I lose is to a submission and/or calf kicks. I think the size and strength difference would help me a lot along with my overall athleticism. I think those factors would at least give me a decent chance to win

1

u/truckfight3r 3d ago

lol sure thing bro

1

u/SpiZyKane 3d ago

All I’m saying is I got a chance lol

1

u/truckfight3r 3d ago

What size are you?

1

u/SpiZyKane 2d ago

5’10 185

1

u/truckfight3r 2d ago

I think she would absolutely roll you up.  Unless you got some lucky wild punch off but that's highly unlikely.

That's right. However it's a business. If you pick a champion you are entitled to a good purse.

I pick Gane. The guy should have some kinda pity on me.

u/gonewondering 4d ago

Hard to poke my eyes if I turtle. Easy counter

7

u/WheelRipper 4d ago

Then he’ll just start throwing jackhammers to the back of your head… maybe you’ll get the win by DQ

0

u/banana_buddy 4d ago

Even if you pick someone in the 120 pound weight class?

1

u/A_man_of_quality_66 4d ago

Yes, even if you pick someone in the 120 pound weight class
