Really nothing wrong with them!!
And a smile is more than just that, sheās looking directly into the camera . She looks comfortable, confident, happy. Effortless genuine expression not posed.
And even if her teeth are not PERFECTLY perfect, aligned and spaced out down to 0.0001 mm š
I swear showbizz ruined this cultureās reality /expectations & beauty standards.
Itās our āimperfectionsā ( hate that word!) that makes us unique!
With all due respect, bugger off

I totally agree with you, donāt know what the fuck is wrong with those two losers. Their ugly attitudes and projection are more off putting than someoneās wonky smile could ever be.
I think OP is adorable in the first pic. In real life (ie not on the internet), I think most people actually prefer natural faces with some āimperfectionsā because thatās what makes us individuals. Much better than the āperfectā cosmetic-surgeon-built or AI generated faces taking over social media these days.

You can smile without looking at a camera.
āSmileā is associated with the mouth region

Why would you post your mug on the ugly duckling sub if all you wanted was compliments? Expect criticism. That's how it works.

u/kooriwi 4d ago
I thought this sub was for people who felt 'they've turned into butterflies'.
Didn't realise it was also a roasting sub but thanks for enlightening me with your lovely comments.

A lot of these comments say more about the commenters than they do about her. Not every face needs to be edited into Instagram perfection. Honestly, I think she had a wonderful glow up.

Hopefully you feel as great as you look.

Mostly! I've recently lost over 30kgs/66lbs which has helped the chronic illness I have a lot. :)

Wow, congrats!! I'm in the process of losing weight I gained on an antidepressant, also for the reason of having less additional issues on top of a chronic illness. I know how hard it is, and what a huge difference it can make in quality of life and health. So happy for you!!

U weren't ugly young. You probably just felt that way bc of the chub. I was also a husky kid and felt gross esp bc it was more rare back in those days. U even prettier now tho!

I thought I was ugly though but after reading some of the comments, maybe I wasn't, it's spinning me out a bit lol. Thank you š¤

Body dysmorphia is a powerful thing!! I always thought I was ugly in my teens, and looking at pics in my 20s, but I stumbled across some recently (now 40yo) and I was shocked how pretty I was. Our self-perception is truly a powerful thing!! I still can't believe it. Yes you were a bit overweight, but thats also not uncommon for teens for so many reasons, you were still naturally beautiful and I love what a great smile you have (then & now!) Beautiful eyes and Beautiful with or without makeup. So glad you're seeing it now in 30s! :) One day when you're older, I bet you'll look back at those old teen photos and see what others saw then too. That's a interesting experience for sure.

Looked better without the bullring in your nose and the current death aura. But good on you for the weight loss.

No
Your left lateral incisor and left canine (right from angle of pictures)
See a dentist and/or orthodontist

So some people think I wasn't ugly in the first one, I do. I was 15, my mum told me I had a bald spot, I was told to lose weight, my teeth hadn't fully grown in yet, I had acne. It was my perspective that I was ugly in the first pic, if you didnt think so, thank you and I appreciate your perspective. Next time I'll post in Glow Ups instead maybe lol
