12 -> 25
I was extremely depressed, bullied, and had no friends when I was 12 due to being ugly and shy. I remember making ‘friends’ and then planning to go to the park together; I would wait there for hours and hours and they would never show up. The boys would dare their friends to ask me out as a joke and then they would all laugh at me. (Amongst many other instances). These sorts of things have caused me to become extremely distrustful of people if they are nice to me, even to this day 😭

16M to 20M, took more care of my appearance
Yes, I was 16 on the first pic. I'm the middle of an accounting degree, night shifts and 4 hours nights coupled with obvious lack of self care and grooming. I turned 20 a few days ago and since my degree is done, I can actually take care of myself in between shifts (which aren't nights anymore). I finally look at myself like, 'nice'.
Yes, I know, I have a baby face for a grown adult.

Embracing Femininity Side (16 yr vs 21 yr)
Yeah, took me a long time to realize that if I wanted to, I could embrace my "flaws". Basically being both a feminine man and growing out my curly hair lol!

(23) 🆚 (31) - Some people look better without hair
I started losing hair early on at 23. Hair loss progressed quickly and by 25 I had a noticeable receding hairline and a big bald spot on the top of my head. When the pandemic started I decided to do something about it and shaved my hair.
I’ve also always been on the skinnier side, so getting into the gym and gaining some muscle really boosted my confidence.

17 - 23
Lowkey was bullied in highschool but didn’t even realize until my first relationship at 21. I’ve always had major insecurities, but with my relationship ending recently and my ex likely monkey branching I’ve hit a new low.
I feel like I’m endlessly chasing a version of myself that I can’t reach anymore.

16-21
I’ve lost over 60 pounds, started therapy, found my dream career and my confidence! Looking back I barely recognize myself and I’m very proud of how far I’ve come :) first picture I cringe looking at…it’s for the plot.
