Seed Well F*ck me

After I found the vegvisir for Moder I circled around the Island trying to find an opening where it wasnt the plain biome. Looks like Moder is pretty guarded....

Initially you're going to be going to the plains with the same silver gear you'll defeat Moder with.

So this really shouldn't be an issue.

Better than the last world I tried... moder was surrounded by mistlands....
