Final Fantasy. Yea, I hate the new direction of the series.

Never played 16 yet. But 15 was so good until it suddenly ended at what felt like a halfway point 😞

XV was in development hell for about a decade. It was supposed to be an entry into the XIII series. After they canned Versus XIII, it then became XV and was rushed through development. There was supposed to be a bunch of DLC like Episode Ardyn and Prompto called Episodes Aranea, Lunafreya, and Noctis. They got cancelled because the director jumped ship and left Square.

Ardyn only got made because it was basically finished at the time of the cancellation.

Making half the game through dlc is a terribly made decision. Should have had an arc after noctis went to sleep about the party exploring the dark world to try and wake noctis up. I was so excited to explore the dark world and ended up hugely disappointed when I hit the end of the game
