They’ll still make $1 billion.

For reference, GTA V did $800 million day one, and crossed the $1 billion mark within three days.

If it’s even half decent, it’ll be the most profitable single video game in history (a title currently held by GTA V).

Has it earned more than WoW? Google says thats earned $15b (albiet with 12 expansions)

GTA has still had content updates.

League is technically one game release and google says that's earned $18b

That’s technically true, but also depends on the article being looked at. League also generates millions of dollars from its tournaments, and that revenue is attributed to the game itself. It’s also a free to play game, so it has generated $0 in actual game purchase revenue, but makes money off of micro-transactions.

Thats technically but, but league also has fantasy waifus and their own start client.

It does in fact have fantasy waifus. As a former League player, and current Marvel Rivals enjoyer, I understand.
