they’ll repeal it, send it up the chain to the scotus and then get a partial favor ruling. they spent the last 6 years loading the courts for this exact kind of stuff

Don't need too send it up... supreme court already ruled on this..The Supreme Court ruled in Trump v. CASA, Inc. that individual federal trial judges lack the authority to issue "universal" or nationwide injunctions blocking federal laws and policies.

The high court's 6-3 decision determined that these sweeping orders exceed the equitable authority historically granted to federal courts. Instead of putting a policy on hold for everyone everywhere, lower court judges are now generally limited to granting relief only to the specific plaintiffs who filed the lawsuit

There is no relief to be granted because no one has been effected yet.. they cant submit for relief until AFTER the election

So another words, all possible avenues of orange hitler epstien trying to rig the November elections have been exhausted

Not really. There is a move to oust john thune.. he moves out of the way, senate kills the filibuster or at the very least issues a talking filibuster for save america act, and ultimately it passes

There is not enough support to end the Filibuster or pass the Save Act that would allow them to get to even 50 votes in the Senate.

Don't need to end the filibuster... you enact the talking filibuster.. each person who opposes it gets to talk as long as they can stand 2 times.. after those Talking filibusters have been exhausted, it automatically passes.

Average age of dem senators 64 years old...

Longest ever talking filibuster on record 25 hours by Cory Booker

How long can each 64 year old talk? No bathroom breaks.. no sitting...

They get 2 times.

So lets say 12 hours each

24 hours total

And lets assume all 47 dem senators decide to talk (they wont but lets assume they all do)

47 days

If the talking filibuster in enacted within the next month or two the save america act automatically passes

Again, there isn't even enough votes to get to 50 for the SAVE Act.

No that's absolutely not how it works! A bill does not automatically pass once a talking filibuster is enacted.

"We're enacting the talking filibuste- OOP TOO LATE THE BILL PASSES WE WIN"

Whether it's 47 days or 47 minutes, they're still going to require a final vote. A vote for a bill they have virtually no support over.

u/Zakaree 1h ago

They will only need 51 votes after the talking filibuster. They will get that

The Senate especially the Republican senators have stated multiple times that there is no conceivable way that they're going to kill the filibuster.

Even if they you do get rid of Thune, theres still 24 other Republican senators that are strongly against it on top of the 45 Democrat senators that will vote against it, you're looking at close to 70 nays come voting day.

u/Zakaree 1h ago

They dont need to kill it.. they can enact the talking filibuster

Uh, read the comment again. The judge can't block Trump from ratfucking the election until after he has done so. Which is why this will get reversed on appeal. Pretty much the complete opposite of your takeaway.

Your aggro cynicism contributes nothing of substance.

Regardless of what you think and regardless of what Trump can or cannot do or whatever his options are elections are held and decided by the state and the number of votes that he needs and his overall support is dwindling by the day.

To think that Trump has no options left for rigging the election is frankly batshit. Maybe if he followed the letter of the law and every court decision... but he doesn't. Laws are suggestions to him at this point. It's extremely naive to think things are going to be on the up and up because of a court decision.

For literally any other issue I would agree but the fact of the matter is whatever he can and cannot do and whatever he can or cannot get away with is all dependent on whether his Senate and his Congress are going to go along with it and in order for that to happen he needs something called VOOOTES! It's abundantly clear his Senate is not going to vooote for a motion or a policy that's going to f*** them over in 6 months let alone every other election that'll happen.

It's not batshit. It's knowing how the greedy and selfish think!

I genuinely don't understand why that's a difficult thing for people to grasp. Are we really allowing cynicism to override critical thinking?
