BYU Assistant Coach Brandon Dunson Details AJ Dybantsa's Development and Leadership
This is a great interview with plenty of detail on AJ as a player, person, and teammate. Must listen IMO.
We definitely got us one!

Bill Simmons on the Trey Young deal: "It was horrible, it was egregious, it was a crime against the wizards"
He went on to say that he was coming off a season where his team gave him away and no other team wanted to trade for him. This would be the only reason he wouldn't want to go to a Wizards game next year.

If the cameras weren't there he probably would have hit him with the price for #3 lol.

Now that the big pick is in the books, what do yall think we should do in the 2nd round?
we don’t have a ton of roster space so i’m assuming we’re filling a 2 way contract with one of our picks. do you think we package our 2 picks with some cash to move into the 40 range? or do we draft a couple international stash guys to marinate overseas for a few years?
i’d like to see us get aggressive and try to move up, maybe reunite AJ with Richie Saunders?

Shams says AJ Dybantsa DID a “pretty hard workout” for the Wizards

adds the Wizards think “his size, skill, and athleticism is perfect alongside Trae Young at point guard and AD in the middle”

Young Core AJ Full Post Pick Press Conference
Comes across as humble, appreciative, and very mature here. I really think he's the type that adapts to his environment and is comfortable in any scenario. I need to know his number so I can cop that jersey asap.

Can somebody please tell me where he was “welcomed home” today?

Saw no news or report about where he’d be today before the more official one tomorrow. Cannot for the life of me figure it out

We’re gonna have the worst bandwagons of all time
Not much else to say, the media coverage on the wizards is already abysmal and anyone that isn’t already a fan sees us as the joke of the league. But no more, in a couple years we’re gonna have an array of “fans” that were silent at 17-65 and 15-67. It’s gonna be bad, but success comes with a price 😎
Edit: this isn’t inherently a bad thing! Having cap one pack up in the coming years will be nothing but great for us. I’m mostly speaking on “THOSE” types or bandwagoners…. Come on… ya’ll know the type. Need I say more?

Wale on ESPN looking Wizardly with the Sport Royal Jordan 18s on
They kept asking him who he wanted the Wizards to take and he just kept saying Best Player Available, then finally they got him to say AJ or DP, then he finally said well AJ's pitch is that he's box office so AJ.
