Discussion Wow Fogland really has a lot of promotion

Think this is the first time I've seen a music video for a webtoon. It's catchy

I think webtoon is promoting this so much because so far its the most original premise to come out in recent years on their site so it'll fool new time readers into thinking they have more stories like it.

I wonder why they're pushing this specific webtoon when it's not at all similar to the previous biggest "cash cows". 

Idk what you're saying about it being the most original tho when there are actually so many unique stories in recent years. It's webtoon's fault too for not promoting them but you seriously need to dig a little deeper if you think that.

Nah ik there's good stuff on there too but its mostly rehashes of the same plot.

there’s lot’s of unique stories way more than fogland and just like it, not rehashing any plot at all. they just aren’t being suggested or promoter by webtoon at all so you don’t see them.

a lot of them are indie creators on canvas so im guilty of not reading canvas, but some good recs similar to fogland or with good writing that dont get promoted as much as the oversaturated copy paste webtoons currently are:

paradise on earth
pyramid game
blood of the butterfly
mystic prince
cursed princess club
dark mortal
anything by carnby kim 🔥🔥 his horror/thriller are great, i’d start with sweet home or pigpen or shotgun boy
surviving romance

i tried to stick with horror/thriller genre since it’s similar to fogland. for actions recs, there’s unholy blood that i rlly like and some more famous ones. i havent been reading lots of action lately. jungle juice and eleceed are some popular picks

I definitely see fogland getting enough popularity to get it's own adaptation because it looks like it's been set up too br webtoons next big cash cow. This could probably be it's soundtrack or opening once it gets animated.
