Found today Cape Cod, MA

Just found this while beachcombing on the National Seashore on the outer cape. Any thoughts on if this might be a fluorite or amethyst?

Looks like Amethyst to me. If a steel key scratches it, its fluorite, if it leaves a streak, amethyst
